I smoked for 48 years and just quit 2 months ago. It’s hard but I turned it over to Jesus and his strength has really kept me from cheating. It’s hard as everything. The urges are awful but my ability to say “no I won’t touch them” is actually miraculous this time that I took it to Jesus. I will pray for you.

Barbara i smoke for 35 years and one day I quit and suffer for over a year ans finally it got better... today I been 20 years smoke fee Hallelujah the damage is still there but I feel better and now that I have God in my heart I thank him every day, my friend be strong and hold on to Jesus he will do the rest. Just QUIT AND DONT TOUCH THEM EVER AGAIN. I will be praying for you too, God bless you!!

I smoked for 45 yrs. You can do this girl even if you try and you were off the smoking for 1 week, 2 months say 3 different times, don’t stop and don’t be hard on yourself and remember if time has passed several times and you haven’t smoked that that you went back don’t be hard on yourself. Just remember having mental thought that and the reason why I say this is because now you know you can because you did one month one week two months whatever or, however you long you did but you kept going even when you might’ve messed up you got back up again and you tried again maybe you needed a little more time I don’t know but always remember the time that you did quick, even if they were short time to long crimes so the excuse of using you can’t which the devil will bring up to ya just remember you can because you did and you will do it because Jesus is there helping you and your dad are fighting so just hang in there and go with it

Yea Barbara , your going to hell for it too. The real sin is those that judge you for smoking.

I asked God to take smoking away over 30 years ago and He did. Smoking and seeing cigarettes in ashtrays made me sick to my stomach. God is able. I pray He will do the same for all that struggle with smoking.

I quite smoking for good, when I would pray my way through each and every craving, each time I craved a cigarette, I would say, "Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus" over and over again, until the craving passed... then I got up out of my chair, walked outside for a min, or did dishes, did anything... to get occupied otherwise. I've not smoked again. I had tried with some success in the past with the patch, and other devices, and it helped for a couple years I went smoke free,... but the only thing that worked for years now was thanking Jesus. 🙌

the tobacco shouted at me from the bag, unclean, unclean. But it was a sermon that pointed to Jesus' speech in the synagogue in Nazareth that solved me when he said that God had a problem with us not believing God. Then I prayed and asked God to fight the battle that I had lost once and for all. Then me and my husband became free. The love and the craving for smoke disappeared.

Im struggling with smoking. Please pray for me for the Lord to give me the wisdom and strength to quit smoking once and for all.

I would thank God every day for freeing me from my addiction to cigarettes (even as i was lighting one up sometimes). I said it out loud. and i would continue to thank him time after time...and within 1 week i was able to quit because of my expectation that God would allowme to rise above it and be disgusted by it. Addiction tried to get me again the next year but i realized i wasn't living 100 for the Lord and harbored fears of the future, and once i was truly delivered from my FEAR i no longer had any desire to smoke. It's left me forever. There may be an underlying reason you smoke like how fear worked against me. Hopefully that helps you somehow😊

My husband (56 y/o) was recently diagnosed with COPD even though he never smoked a day in his life. However, his parents were heavily addicted to cigarettes and he had to live in this daily growing up. His father died of lung cancer a couple years ago and his step mother is dealing with COPD herself and on oxygen. They never believed smoking was “bad”. I went on a fast for 21 days to quit the habit . I heard the lord say to me after I had spoken to a radical Islamic man over Israel 🇮🇱 and his soul , he told me they took Israel called it their country. I heard the lord say to me you can’t preach the word with those in your hands . That was the last ones I bought. I’ve been free 14 and more years . This one comes by prayer and fasting only . I am so happy he set me free . My body is a temple , it defile the body . Will it kill me yes , and it’s something I would not do now thinking to offend a person .

I started smoking at eleven years old. Smoked for 62 years then in March of 2022 God healed me of my addiction to this horrible drug. Gal. 5:20 and the greek for the word witchcraft pretty much answers the question being asked for me. I might add that God will not go against your will. All those years I tried many times to quit but truth be known I really didn't want to. When my will was inline with God's will He healed me.

Our bodies do not belong to us they belong to God thus our 'temple' is not a self determined instrument for our own cause or effect. Our bodies are specific for Gods will and purpose according to his plan.

I quit smoking two years ago cold turkey.. because of the Risen Savior of course.. not to say I didn't battle it for a year and half after I got saved but yes.. I woke up I didn't have smokes.. I said to myself and I ain't gettin none either... October is years.. praise God

congrats, im 3 weeks in, cold turkey on both cigarettes and weed. because of this, i have gotten mad, at myself, at the Lord. i hope Jesus forgives me, because its only because of these withdrawels that i got mad, and the fact that my father has a short fuse and my mother always projects instead of blaming themselves for their actions. these things make me do the same things as my parents. when its simply my fault. i hope Jesus understands and forgives me. 3 weeks in, please stand by me Lord.

I ask the same as I have been on pain meds for brittle bones since 2010. 3 foot surgeries, both rotator cuff surgeries, carpal tunnel surgery, 2 back surgeries, 4 days apart, and I KNOW I am beyond a doubt that I'm addicted and I also vape. The guilt eats me up, and it makes everything else such a struggle. Please pray for me. I don't want to be like this. God bless you, brother Tiff and you are my pastor for all intents and purposes.

Mom died, Dad died 3 months later in 2007,. Dad died of a broken heart . My Dad loved coffee , my dtr and I gave my Dad 1/4 teaspoon of coffee close to him taking his last breath ! Iam a smoker but I have tried to quit 3 or 4 times I have had brain surgery where I had to stop smoking 2 weeks before surgery which I did and a thunk it was 2 weeks after surgery but my flesh was weak and went back then I thru a full pack away out of my window of my car and then I tried again and still went back my spirit is willing but my flesh is weak I'm 87 years old and I'm smoking 73 years how do I get rid of this habit I know what Jesus did for me and I cover my body with the blood of Jesus why can't I let go I believe in God I have faith and trust in him I ask Jesus to help me with this habit

I believe that overeating and taking in too much sugar as to make you a diabetic is equal to smoking. Taking medication such as pain pills to the extent that they damage your health or screw your thinking falls into this same category. These are the unmentionable sins of the church

I quit smoking cigarettes 18 years ago and have been smoking cigars for 8 years. Smoking is not a sin. If it is then is caffeine addiction, sugar addiction, carb addiction, etc. sins too? I don’t define myself but what I don’t do but by what I do.

Thank you Pastor but is taking weeds a sin. My son takes weeds, sometimes put it in his food so that we would not see him taking it and I’ve cried and cried to God about it that God should deliver him. I love the boy so much I don’t want him to perish.

Im sorry I smoking cigarette. A modern world telling me Im a sinner. I know that is a bad habit, but I have a question for others. Addicted for sugar? Fast food? Eat bacon, crab, snails is a sin and make you unclean and that is in the Bible. I don't want to minimize my bad habit but, smoking is not in the Bible but eat unclean is in it. I pray YAH every day, study every day YAH words, and I know this world offer to much sin, this why we need Yeshua who wash away our sin. HalleluYAH

I am struggling with vaping. I hate it. I think it's a horrible devastating habit. It hurts my relationship with God.

I'm addicted to cigarettes. After watching this video I feel so guilty. How do I stop? Honestly, I enjoy smoking and my husband gave up smoking about 3 years ago and he is constantly trying to get me to stop smoking but I really don't want to.

It is tough. Quiting cold turkey was the only way for me to quit. Once I got over that third day, which is peak withdrawal, it got easier as the days went on. I still crave a cigarette after meals and just when I'm "chilling". I wish they sold a pack with only two cigarettes.
