This shows that even though we sin like Sampson God forgives us when we repent. He never leave us. It us getting caught up in our own selfishness.

You know, Moses was able to liberate Israel but couldn't live to see the land of promise. Samson delievered the Israel from Phillistia empire but couldn't live to see the freedom. It means that when you obey God you will live to see the freedom like the rest.

MAN is NOT ABLE to do THIS in the NAME of GOD. ☀️🙏 Since he does not have the identity of God or His essence, he has NO ABILITY to do His WORK, and even if man did, it would NOT have any EFFECT. 🛑 The FIRST OPPORTUNITY that GOD became MAN was for the SAKE of redemption, to REDEEM ALL OF HUMANITY from SIN, to MAKE MAN have the ABILITY to be CLEAN and FORGIVEN of his SINS. ☀️ The WORK of OPPRESSION was also PERSONALLY PERFORMED by GOD on MAN. If, at that stage, God would only speak of prophecy, then a prophet or anyone with a gift might be found to take His place; if the prophecies are only spoken, man can stand before God. BUT if MAN PERSONALLY does the WORK of GOD Himself and he DOES it in MAN'S LIFE, it will be IMPOSSIBLE for him to DO this WORK. It has to be PERSONALLY DONE by GOD Himself: GOD has to be PERSONALLY MAN to do THIS WORK. In the Age of the Word, if prophecy is only revealed, then Elijah the prophet can be found to do this work, and it will not be necessary for God Himself to do it personally. Because the work carried out at this stage is not simply the proclamation of prophecy, and because it is more NECESSARY that WORK than WORDS be USED to CONQUER MAN and DEFEAT SATAN, this WORK CANNOT be DONE by MAN, and MUST be PERSONAL that GOD DOESHIMSELF. 🙏 In the AGE of the LAW JEHOVAH DID A PART in the WORK of GOD, after that He SPECIFIED some WORDS and DID some WORKS through the PROPHETS. That is because man can intercede for Jehovah's work, and soothsayers can predict things and interpret certain dreams in His name. ☀️ The WORK DONE in the BEGINNING was NOT the WORK of DIRECTLY CHANGING MAN'S DISPOSITION, and had NO KNOWLEDGE of MAN'S SIN, man was simply REQUIRED to abide in the LAW. So JEHOVAH did NOT become MAN and did NOT REVEAL HIMSELF to MAN; instead He REVEALED DIRECTLY to MOSES and others, SPEAKING them and WORKING in His NAME, and GIVING them a WAY to WORK DIRECTLY in the MIDST of MANKIND. The FIRST PHASE of GOD'S WORK is to LEAD PEOPLE. This is the BEGINNING of the WAR against SATAN, but this WAR HAS NOT OFFICIALLY BEGUN. And so, He TAKES on the FLESH and DID the WORK and enabled SATAN'S COMPLETE SURRENDER. ☀️ At the TIME of the STARTING of the WORK in the LAST DAYS, if MAN is the DOER of this WORK, DECLARED DIRECTLY in these WORDS, then he WILL NOT be ABLE to TALK to them, and if the prophecy is revealed, then It has NO CAPACITY for HUMAN RULE. THROUGH the INCARNATION, GOD CAME to DEFEAT SATAN and enable his complete SURRENDER. He COMPLETELY DEFEATED SATAN, COMPLETELY CONQUERED MAN, and COMPLETELY GAINED MAN, and thus this PHASE of WORK WILL be COMPLETED, and VICTORY will be ACHIEVED. In God's rule, man cannot succeed God. This true story shows how the enemy still works to take Christians down, people who God's chosen. It's often through the lust of the flesh, through sexual temptation, an enticing package. What I like about the story of Samson is it shows how merciful and forgiving our God is. Samson knew it was wrong to go into Delilah but he let his desires overpower him. There was very steep consequences in doing this, however God forgave him, and still used Samson to accomplish His purpose.

God has warned man against an unrighteous woman, she will bring nothing but destruction, she will be your downfall. Furthermore, he should have had faith in God, to seek God's presence constantly, seek God's will. This is however the same sin that man is guilty of to this day. Samson looked for purpose, his own worth elsewhere instead of God's Devine purpose for him. Seek first the will of God - that is what everyone must seek.

Never realised before. Samson like many other Old Testament characters, depicted the Story of Jesus. Jesus was whipped, humiliated yet brought down the powers of evil. In a short time, this world we live in will crumble. GUARANTEED.

Samson does not depict Jesus. Not all suffering depicts Jesus, please. Jesus was the sinless son of God who suffered for nothing but our own sins. Samson’s case was a simple reaping of what he sowed and a consequence for bad habits and dangerous pleasures which he had no hope for redemption BUT for the mercy of God who still used Samson in spite of. Please don’t compare Samson (or just anything that looks like suffering) to what Jesus went through and accomplished. May God continue to grant us understanding. Amen.

I love this movie, it's so clean. and I love God.

It is truly amazing that God can see what we can’t, the true person, no matter about our faults, God can always make use of an individual faults, weaknesses etc.

God be my strength and refuge... To fight against the devil🙏🙏

Not just the Devil sometimes your own family members. They may have made deals with demons even in other lives. Magically preprogrammed since maybe even the Samson days. The temple he destroyed might have had so much magic going on inside which is usually why God ordered him to destroy it and all inside.. for Gods Garden to be beautiful and plentiful it needed to be weeded out. And taken care of so sometime the bad needed to be killed .

there are so many bizarre stories in the Bible! i love to observe the reactions of those who haven't heard them. Samson has always been one of my favorites! even if not completely accurate, these "stories" spark people's interest and make a WAY for them to receive.

The movie Samson was a great movie I only wish they would have cut the Hollywood part out of it. One, the Bible doesn't show record of Delilah having a relationship with the prince at all before she agreed to turn over Samson. Did she know of Samson; of course everyone did, did she want a relationship with him yes that's why she helped him but in the end, her Greed for silver betrayed him. To my knowledge that night when Samson broke the double doors down and carried it that's when he met her and she offered to hide at her place that's why he went there. I don't think he has seen her at his wedding as the movie portrays. Second, it wasn't Delilah who told Samson's riddle to the prince. it was Samson's soon-to-be wife that told. Third and the biggest issue for me, Delilah never tried to return back the Silver for Samson's freedom, nowhere that's biblical. she took the silver with no regret. But of course, Hollywood doesn't want to make the woman look bad so they have to try to justify it and make it seem like she tried to release Samson but got his brother out instead when his brother was never in prison with him. If the same producers make a David movie will be great but no need for the Hollywood garbage, give us the true facts about the Bible!

@Kwaku Ananse And this movie it portrays that it was Delilah who told the prince the riddle. As Samson tells his soon-to-be wife the riddle on the rooftop Delilah is listening in. The next day the prince tells the riddle and Samson, Samson soon-to-be wife says it wasn't me, which portrays that Delilah told the riddle. In Scripture Delilah had nothing to do with that, scripture reveals that it was the soon-to-be wife that told the riddle to the prince.

Too many fundamental incompatibilities with the actual story that happened. That part where water just appeared to him after killing 1000 men had me. Samson asked God a quite strange question according to the Bible but here he just receives the water as his reward. Then him telling people to “Trust God”. Lol the Samson of the Bible tell anyone to trust God? Ah well. As the writer said, “visit many good books (and Bible inspired movies) but live in the Bible. Selah.

Amen! ❤ I just wrote a long comment on another comment like yours LOL. Hollywood knows if they twist and leave out scriptures then it isn't the true honest word of God. A lot of it was on point, but just one little change messes up the whole story (to me anyway). I like sticking to the Bible...because it's the truth. Why twist the truth? For what reason? I really don't know or understand why they always have to do that in a lot of these movies based on the Bible.

The Holy Spirit put it in my spirit I wanted to watch Samson and Delilah movie.

This has been a exceptionally good movie .I have thoroughly enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing.

Even if Hundreds Of Thousands of Men or for that even If The Entire World's Populations is against Samson, Our Almighty God will see to that nothing can be Won over him. It may take days, Months or even Years but he will still have The Strength to go on until and unless everyone of them are Dead.

Philistine aka Palestine in English. They can’t get married because he’s Arabic Muslim and She’s a Hebrew. The two counties are still killing each other to this day over land. I’m Aramaic from Babylon 3000 BC there’s about 8M of us left all over the world. It’s scares me to see how they lived back then and how little regard they had for human life.

actually it is written that Delilah herself taunted Samson. I understand we want to make our hero our hero, but I wish there be someone who will spend money to tell God's version of the story not their own.

Yeah I had to look it up myself because the old 1940s version made Delilah more of a good guy too....gave her more love and morals to her character. In the Bible she is heartless, a total betrayer covert narcissist. Although that is sad...I do believe it's super important to tell the story like it is in the Bible word or word...because it's the truth and the truth is what sets us free. We may not like it but we need it. I honestly couldn't remember the end of the Samson story so when I read it (and she was just wicked and heartless) I wish they would just stick to her actual character being that way. Because it's what really happened...these aren't just fairy tales - they really happened. And those of us who can relate to real people that have done is dirty like that will heal (oddly enough) from hearing not only the TRUTH but our story told as well.

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

When they say, peace, peace then the Anti-Christ will come and deceive many with sudden destruction!!! Since Trump has deceived many "So called" Christians this is very plausible in these sad times!! The scripture calls them "many antichrists" (1 John 2:18).😮 Therefore, watch, pray, and spread the true Gospel, "True" Believers in Jesus Christ for the time is short!!🙏🏾

The problem is that Samson fell to the same befall of the sons of God from the lineage of Seth & Enos before the flood, as they took the daughters of ungodly men who turned their hearts from God and corrupted their lineage, who were once worshipers of God. His desire was towards his fleshly desires, towards the beautiful daughters of ungodly men, daughters who turned his heart from the very purpose God called him for & led to him to his final demise. It shows us how dangerous it is to be unequally yoke with the unbeliever. A woman is the weakness that man has fallen to from since the foundation of the world.

This film conveys quite a refreshing turn, does it not? As to how proximal to the truth, ay how detailed, fair or accurate it is, well, better are we to leave that determination to those who purport to know -- indeed, I am not one such. Nevertheless, we should ever bear in heart and mind that Truth tends to prove more consequential than Fiction. Indeed, any Intention and Might that can create and sustain a universe shall have little difficulty if any in sharing that same with a man or woman if the Mission so determines it or, as some might frame, proves in accordance with best-laid plans. And Samson was just one. Speculate on the many probable others' missions over the course of time and places on Earth about whom we know nothing, for whose works and missions there exist no scribes, no written accounts. Ay there must be untold millions, yes?

i love this story & I'm blessed tonight Saturday evening watching this movie!

But not everything in this film is in line with the Bible, for example the death of Samson's wife which caused Samson to become angry and burn the fields of the Philistines. In fact, in the Bible it is said that this was all because Samson's father-in-law gave his wife to someone else to be his wife, then asked Samson/Samson to take his wife's sister to replace his wife who had been given away by his father-in-law to someone else. This is what made Samson very angry with his father-in-law which caused Samson to burn down the fields of the Philistines. This all happened starting from the Riddle which made Samson angry because his wife told the Riddle to the Philistines because of the Philistines' pressure on his wife. Because it was true that Samson only told his wife the answer to the riddle. This is what made Samson angry with his wife so that Samson left his wife temporarily. But when Samson returned, his wife had been handed over to someone else by his in-laws, because his in-laws thought that Samson was still angry with his wife and would not come back. But in this film the story is different and not completely in line with the Bible. For example, at the end of this film where Delilah dies, the Bible never mentions how Delilah died. Of this film, some are in line with the Bible and some are not in line with the Bible, but I still respect the people who made this film.🙏🙏😊😊
