Everyone trolled Till for his loss to DDP but seeing how he just ran through Rob with ease shows how good DDP is. Darren was cracking him on the feet with nasty elbows that could wobble most middleweights and Dricuss ate them all. Some chin Dricuss has.

+@billsmafia7769 Darren Till was actually a very good fighter, even when he was a little bit undersized in middleweight. He darailed his carreer because of an knee injury he somehow was not willing or able to fix. Hamzat talked about that somewhat 1 or 2 years ago.

@@bjornhartmann6839 End of 2nd round vs Whittaker he got his knee stomped and that’s pretty much what he’s been dealing with. Since that fight he looked out of shape against Brunson/DDP. Sad story, because he had so much skill on the feet but the UFC pushed him so fast. Also he was a tweener, massive for 170 and not that big for 185. His striking was so fun to watch. Idk many fighters who could counter strikes with Elbows like him.

Strickland doesn’t fight to finish though, he’s consistent and will jab DDPs head off in 3, 4 and 5. Strickland by decision.

@@jakesaint6256 DDP has a great jab as well and from both stances, he floored Rob with it. I think Strickland has better defense. They both have ugly/awkward striking but effective. Should be a good scrap.

@@billsmafia7769 rob has terrible boxing defense, as much as I love Bobby knuckles it’s always been his weak point along with his chin. DDPs jab floored him because Rob is chinny and he caught him mid-blitz. Strickland doesn’t open himself up like that. Definitely will be a war though.

Dricus is a phenom but man Strickland is so good with that Philly shell. Re Watched Dricus last couple fights and he does have pretty unique takedowns. He took down rob with like a bull dog choke grip toss which was interesting. But I think Sean’s wayy to defensively sound. In Sean we trust amen 🙏

It does exactly that; other fighters would be unable to fight for the title, therefore fighting a second time would be holding the division up.

I would like to see Strickland pull it off and defend his belt atleast once..There is a possibility that DDP over powers Strickland, like Usman did many years ago at Welter Weight..Since DDP's first fight in the UFC, I thought for him to be successful he would need to slim down some and get better at the technical side of fighting, for cardio and success in striking..But, the one thing you can't really measure is will and determination, which is why DDP shocked the industry every single fight..When a guy can out muscle other fighters to the ground, hurt them with jabs and enforce his will at will, you just never know..Wouldn't bet on this one..

I'm wondering about du Plessis cardio, even after the nose surgery! He tired in the Whittaker fight even in victory. Five rounds makes a big difference! "If" Strickland can get passed round two I think advantage turns to him!
