Wrong. This division means just kind of economical system. First world means capitalism: Bangladesh and Ghana. Second world means communism: China and Vietnam. Third world means all rest systems (e.g. developmentalism): Norway, Sweden, North and South Koreas. This division have nothing with level of development of country, with level of life in country or with technologies. By unknown reason uneducated people (like author of video and you) started to use term "3rd world" wrongly, to describe something backward. Actually some countries of 3rd world represent one of the best models of own era and conditions. In Norway high level of live (better than in most 1st world countries), while N.Korea is country with one of the most advanced technologies (top-10 of most advanced countries in world).

А я гляжу, не только у нас произошла деформация понятия "третий мир". Вообще это политическое определение времён СССР, где было два полюса (два мира) - капиталистический (под США) и социалистический (под СССР). И разделение шло именно по идеологии, а не по богатству. А третий мир был у тех, кто не хотел вписываться в разборки двух гегемонах на правах жертвенной коровы. То есть, повторять судьбу Кореи, Вьетнама и иже с ними. Считая, что лучше бедненько, но живенько. Вот оттуда ассоциация "третий мир = бедность" и пошла. Сейчас один мир - панамерикана. В отсутствии второго третий быть не может.

Матвей, ты не прав. Нужно думать не только о себе, но и о других тоже. Потому что вместе - мы сила!

Don't know about rich, but in many regions of Russia, people, who want to live outside of city in their home build hauses for himself and their families, someone bigger, someone smaller, whatever they want, i don't see big difference. Also Russia NEVER was 3rd world country, western politicians from century to century bla bla such nonsense about Great country with rich culture, history, science, achievements, education. Our Bolshoi theatre was builb be4 the US state appeared on the map. The USSR was one of the most reading countries, people loved books very much and don't see that has changed much now, people still love libraries, bookstores, book markets or read e-books. The only time when our country looks like 3rd world country was when traitors Gorbachev and Eltzin was in power, when so called western democracy has come to us, it was the only time when the West praised us, but Thank God Putin came and saved country. Now we know that if western politicians scold us, then everything fine in our country. )))

_Et tu, Brute!?_ 😂 This division means just economical systems: 1st for capitalism (like in Bangladesh or Ghana), 2nd for communism (like in China), 3rd world for all rest systems (like Norway or both Koreas). It never described wealth or level of life. Basic knowledge from 1st lesson of economy in college/university. When this system were proposed to simplify division spheres of influence between US and USSR, in USSR rejected this system because not agreed that US, France, Britain, Portugal, etc, is ordinary capitalists. They have classical colonial economical systems, while capitalism is just addition. Typical example - France -steal- get uranium (70% of electricity in country from nuclear power) from -seized- territories in Africa by $2, while on market real price is up to $200. US -steal- get for free oil from territories in -seized- Syria. And so on.

Author need to learn what means term "3rd world" (even if you sure you know what term means, but itself never read it, don’t use it, in most cases it means not exactly what you think). 1st, 2nd and 3rd world is description of economical systems. 1st - capitalism, like in Ghana, 2nd is communism, like in China, 3rd world - all rest, like in Norway or both Koreas. Also, on video is not houses of rich people, this is even not top middle class.
