    Even if Qimir is the masked man I don’t believe he’s the true Sith Master. At best he’s the Apprentice working for another puppetmaster.

    100% yes you got it. We might NOT see the true master, there maybe just a hint at his true nature at the very end of the show

    It's either him or Horn mommy. My main reason I think it's her it's cause she is the only one not on the poster 😅

    Qimer is the ACOLYTE! And I think he gets got. He’ll come out strong, maybe take out one of the lesser jedi, but then get it. There are multiple Acolytes, and the Apprentice is who he keeps calling “the master”. The apprentice will be one of the witch mothers or a suprise jedi. And the Sith Lord is someone else. Qimir will take off his helmet right before he dies, and accuse Sol of some shady shit, and both the twins will be shocked, and react diferrently

    It just can’t be Qimir… is this a mystery show for young children now? I had him in my top-3 suspects before this episode, but they made it so incredibly obvious we should be suspecting him that it just has to be a red herring. Will be a major letdown if it’s actually him now. Crossed him off the list and going with either Indara or Mother Koril now

    Unfortunately things indicate that it is a young children’s show. I keep seeing clips of Lucas saying he made Star Wars for children. Guy said it upon the release of the original trilogy and then again for the sequel trilogy. Since Filoni is in charge now I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the mission statement going forward while things like Andor will be the rare exceptions. I know it’s helped me contextualize some of the writing of the childish writing since the Book of Fett.

    @@Moddox77but this was supposed to be the darker, more adult show. They have other projects focused more toward kids. It can be “for kids” in the sense that they aren’t swearing and violence isn’t overly graphic, but George is kidding himself if he thinks he made something for kids. Vader killing people via force choke, Anakin beheaded Dooku, killing in general. Like these aren’t kid themes. There’s a middle ground where you can write shows that are *mostly* appropriate for kids that adults can still enjoy. I think the movies have done a good job of that balance

    In great mystery shows, the suspects are never who we think it is. Qimir seemed highly wary of the getting to Kelnacca's domicile on time, as if fretting about being late for an important meeting. He literally said he minded Mae resting on the rock when they were only a 10-minute stroll north of the target. Either its like the Jekyll & Hyde scenario where Qimir turns into something else at dawn, since we haven't witnessed his character at night time... or, his master was slated to arrive at the designated location and time. I would also hope everyone playing detective are wrong, but pleasantly impressed with the result. That would redeem Headland and writers in my book.

    The biggest clue was casting an actor who has extensive dance training, skills which translate well into fight choreography.

    It's the head witch. She is the only one with motivation to kill those four Jedi and the force push was one of her abilities they already showed her using. She also would have known about the Bunta poison.

  • @ssotkow

    @ssotkow

    Ай бұрын

    The Bunta poison was concocted by Qimir though. Also, we saw the corpse of Mother Aniseya (head witch) in ep. 3 flashback. Mother Koril is a more likely candidate if in fact its one of the witches. I can't shake the notion dark magic is afoot and the power of many created this entity. Aniseya demonstrated the force push with one witch as well as with two witches... but never with many witches. The power of many as per the thread may have been unleashed in ep 4 when 8 Jedi were blown away.

    @@ssotkow We saw them laying there. I don't think they all died. Someone had to save Mae. I think Qimir knew of the poison because of that head witch.

    @@cedricroney1475 Nobody checked their pulses so no official death confirmation. Gotcha. I remember Mother Aniseya teaching Osha and Mae about how priorities change as one grows older; the egocentric views adopted as a child, gradually shift in adulthood, to one of sacrificing for the many/collective. Perhaps the witches ended up transferring their individual thread (life forces) to merge as one larger thread of the many. Hence, they collapsed on their own. Whoever is under the helmet may be the product of the thread merger.

    The reveal HAS to be a known name, or a character in the show. The goal will be to blow up the internet with the reveal. They can't just have the character say, "...and they call me... Darth Skandalus!". That would land like a lead balloon. The season/series has to end with Qimir, or Osha-Mae (having killed Qimir) bowing down before the REAL Sith Lord and saying, "What is thy bidding... Master Plagueis?" Circle-wipe to credits. Cue the explosion on the internet, especially because it'll turn out that Plagueis is actually a woman, but that's a Star Wars meltdown for a month from now. The reveal HAS to be someone that will have meaning. Plagueis is a name that was mentioned in Revenge of the Sith and has been speculated about as the "secret" Sith going all the way back to Snoke in Force Awakens. It's a name that's just the right about of known and open for re-interpretation in the new canon.

    Red herring, classic misdirect. Also the writing in this series is so hack, that the people writing it only have a cursory understanding of good storytelling so they would go with the most obvious and basic tropes like a red herring.

Its like the writers room is filled with people saying "ya know what would be cool..." and their basis for cool is old saturday morning cartoons which are always predictable and hack. These are morons with a millions of dollars to spend and no sense of style or taste. Fucking hacks the lot of them.
