Being able to gender someone based on their sex is a deeply instinctive skill. Very occasionally, you might get it wrong, and think a man is a woman or vice versa, but that mistake is very rare. I don't know of anybody who isn't able to accurately guess whether someone is male or female, hundreds of times every day.

Yes, I misgendered an old woman working at the Canadian Legion Hall two years ago, but this was before she replied in her obviously feminine voice, and she did indeed present as very mannish in her total look. This was an understandable error, I felt bad, and she seemed offended & didn’t want to help me so I guess we have no debt of karma to settle. Om.

If I were to take a cell from her and clone her - what gender would I produce? If you have XX you produce gender 1 if you have xy you produce gender 2 That is called a binary gender (binary coming from only two choices) In computer language binary language (0 or 1) you can only have a 0 or a 1 in any position. One can translate that into Octagonal (base 8 [1,2,3,4,5,6,7 - then go on to 10=8]) or Hexagonal (base 16 [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, a,b,c,d,e, f -then go to 10=16]) numerics. But, the most basic is 1 or 0 (only two variables) Gender is only male and female - I digress to cloning her. A female would be cloned. thus, she is a female.

My gender is that every time I meet a new person, they have to give me $100, if you refuse to comply, you will be jailed for hate speech.

Imagine being a teacher for about 500 people on campus coming and going, and having to remember how everyone of them identify themselves in order to not open up to violence. Maybe a good idea was to use mandatory name tags where their gender identification is displayed.

Is so unbelievable how those people try to force us to name them different than we see. Never going to happen they're going to have to stay in their circle

"Why should we change our entire system of gender if theres no precedent" Was responded to with the true statement of "Many Eastern cultures like India, Japan and other regions have third fourth and even fifth genders to describe intersex and even genders lacking primary sex characteristics. This has a precedent of 3000 years and is only so directly contested in the West within the past few hundred years" To which Crowder denies that value of that saying "well just because it happened somewhere else doesn't mean it should happen here" You can't define the burden of substantiated value as precedent (which is admittedly a very loose reason to continue a practice so him making this statement is already quite weak), and then double back on yourself just because your flimsy argument was easily disproven. This happens with every one of his major points in this video, and if you can find a single point that they do not refute, and that Crowder isnt forced to divert from, then I would love to see that The truth is sex is not a scientific binary. You can create categories based on observable traits, but when the science says it isn't that simple, we can't just bully people we don't understand. This is a complex issue and the science shows that. A fourth grade biology text book from 1920 is not modern science

By that same logic, slavery is perfectly acceptible because it happens consistently in the middle east. I think, giving everybody their own identity will push us further and further apart. Us sharing our space to live with eachother, we should find as many things possible to have in common, so we get closer to eachother. Creating your own 'character' because you want to be unique and valued, is very narsisitic. And literally forcing your ideas on others is only creating a gap that, if we are not carefull, will tear apart society.

The funny thing is that they're also trying to make certain terms "wrong" now even though they are still fully relevant. Cross dresser is somehow a bad term even though it literally means someone who wears the clothes of the opposite sex/gender when a man can fully decide he wants to wear dresses and still be a man which would make him a cross dresser not trans anything, but the left freaks out if you use terms like cross dresser(or transvestite).

So if using wrong pronouns is an act of violence, what about other identifiable tags? If I slip and call "Addison" "Alison" mid conversation without even realising it, am I a criminal? Yes, to purposefully call someone differently can be a sign of disrespect - but we function biologically (like, as you point out, the loudmouth in the crowd did)...
