I'm looking forward to the remake of the game, if it's good enough i'll definitely back track to experience the content for myself rather than researching. Congrats on the announcement!

Played KOTOR back in the day and although I'm not the biggest EU fan, I dropped a pre order on this one. The design is top tier for this character and think it will look great in the display. Would I have preferred a canon character announcement for the May 4th reveals like an Asajj Ventress or Savage Opress, absolutely, but he's a great looking character and at least it's not another trooper lol Here's hoping that if Lucasfilm introduce a canon version of Revan he doesn't look too different. Keep up the great work dude!

Hell, I had to do some research to convince myself I wanted him, otherwise I would've passed, lol! I did almost slide in one more nitpick, but I chose to keep it to myself... I'm not a fan of how vibrant the red is on the sash and mask. Even in the remake trailer it's desaturated and less toy-like. But like you said, I also wish we received canon characters like Savage, Grievous, or Pong Krell. I'd've love those! Thanks for the words of encouragement, it's always appreciated, Benny! 🙏🏻😄🍻

I never been so temped to get a sideshow figure than with this Revan. Can't believe you don't know of him with how much star wars content you make. No hate though just genuinely surprised

Yeah, I don't take it as hate. I just never dove into that side of it personally, because I hear the stories are so good it would wipe the floor with stories we have today. If that's the case, I'd rather enjoy the canon material which is what they're building on consistently. I did read one small excerpt though pertaining to a clone who learned Darth Vader was Anakin. That was awesome!

We already know HotToys skimps out on 1/6th bases, you’d have to spend double the price @ quarter scale to get a decent base (And thats mainly Iron Man, the license that made them).. I agree but hottoys are honestly always, expensive.

Yeah, I'm tired of having to spend even more than $300 for a decent base though. These are high end collectibles, so it's upsetting some times. Then, they'll randomly surprise us like they did with the Kenobi: Darth Vader. THAT'S how you do it, Hot Toys. I'd argue Star Wars made them, but Iron Man is huge in their region so it depends on perspective. We're both right! 😄 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!

I almost did a deeper dive actually. I took so many notes, but I ended up dialing it ALL the way back. I didn't think people would care to hear about his history if it's just about the figure. Glad to hear you enjoyed a few of the cliff notes though! Like I said, I knew absolutely nothing about him. In fact, he was explained to me as a flip flopper, Sith, Jedi, and Sith again... Like this guy just can't make up his mind, lol! Welp, that wasn't the case. Thanks for watching man! 🍻

Well in the game I always flip flopped between being a good guy and bad guy throughout the course of the adventure 😅

This is my third HT figure and first preorder and it couldn’t have been more deserving. My fav Legends character (tied with Darth Traya), and he easily deserves it. Hope we one day get Jedi Knight Revan. I hope to see your review of the figure one day as im a big fan of your reviews and cinematography!

I'm so burnt out with research after Revan, I never even heard of a Darth Traya! Although, those horny artists out there are the ones who put me on to Darth Talon. Even then I thought she was just a fan concept until later on. Jedi Knight Revan would be so awesome! The duality in the display with those two would look incredible! You'll definitely see this one when he drops. Looking forward to seeing it in hand hopefully you enjoy the content when it come out! Appreciate the love, Rampant! 😄🙏🏻

Am the same but I heard about him so much that it was an instant PO cuz I have a feeling is going to be a grail in the future 💯

I am thinking this will be my first Sideshow figure and I will follow up with Starkiller and hopefully they do a Darth Malak

I can see why everyone is agog over him, but alas I cannot collect everything. Who knows, if still available after I pay off some preorders I might get him. I do wonder if he'll become more relevant with future figure releases. Thanks for another excruciatingly perfect video, Boston.

What about if they announced Malak? 👀 Knowing Hot Toys they'd just a newer version of him if he cam into canon. Easy money for them at that point since they can update the files they currently have for it. Thank you for watching! 🍻

Sigh… sideshow will finally get my money. They ALMOST had me with the Death Trooper, but this is where they get me. You should do some reading up on Revan, Bastilla Shan, Malgus, and Nihilus. Fantastic characters.

Sideshow's been sticking me up for my money even since late April. I hope they slow down, lol! I love the look of the Death Trooper Specialists, but I could only commit to the Mandalorian versions as the older ones were to expensive at the time. I've done some research on those characters apart from Nihilus and Malgus. If they interacted with Revan it's as much as I know. They sound really cool though so far!

@@BostonCollectors Nihilus is the more unique of the 2 and honestly has the more boring design. Malgus is just a unit of a character, if you get a chance check out the cinematic of KOTOR, particularly the ones of Bastilla fighting Malgus and his invasion of the temple on Coruscant
