Hello, Sweden here again.... where is my magnet? It's on some stuff around here... Great with a bit of humor. AC/Heater units I get them in droves, I guess about 10-15 in a month. Compressors I drain for electric motor price, happy with that and my landlord is to happy about the grinder in the garage. Those units also has a nice transformer in them, most are copper. Stay safe and take care.

Thanks for the comment. Nice that you find a lot of these, great scrap value. Stay well and happy scrapping
Thanks for such an informative video, yes it is illegal to dump anything with Freon in it. I have seen some people do take them to the landfill in hopes of getting rid of it that way. I am always looking for stuff like that on the side of the road or at illegal dumping areas on dirt roads. Stay safe and see you on the next video.

Luckily l am an old licensed refrigeration tech so I can do my own. But yards in my area of Michigan USA will take them with the refrigerant in them. Great video

Just found an old small free standing air conditioner at the dump metal bin yesterday, alongside 3 microwaves and an old exhaust fan. Always nice to have a slightly better idea what I am getting into before taking these things apart for myself. Love scrapping and love your channel. Thanks for your content!!!

Yeah, unfortunately that is a big reason why we find them dumped I. garbage bins or worse, in the ditches. It is like the old CRT tv, allowing free drop-off would eliminate a lot more garbage
Those radiator grills, are they mostly aluminum? I am also hearing it could be nichrome, with majority nickel. This should yield a much higher price.

They are aluminum with copper running through them. I have seen some radiators that are all aluminum even the coils.
Your magnet is under that silver appliance, stuck to the bottom 😂. Scrap on Tin Man ✌️.
