Agreed, if you are not prepared to hold LCID long term, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Doesn't make the stock any less appealing IMO, it will come out of no where like TSLA did.

I would honestly be astonished if Lucid reaches 2030 without a bankruptcy that wipes out existing shareholders. They are burning at least an order of magnitude more money than Tesla did at the equivalent stage of growth, and unlike Tesla they are trying to grow in a highly competitive market. The only reason Lucid hasn't already joined the dozens of other failed EV startups is massive cash infusions from the Saudi's, but eventually their patience will run out. Or they will give money in the form of loans instead of buying shares and then take possession of the companies assets during bankruptcy if they really want to keep the name and technology.

@@faroncobb6040 Lucid is way more than an "EV company", the same way Tesla is more of a data company than an EV company as well... Lucid has a number of patented tech accross the board that other manufacturers will seek to license than try and develop themselves.. Lucid is a tech company, insanely beautifully crafted high quality vehicles as well. I also live in Dubai and go to Saudi every month, they will not let it fail. You can't even begin to fathom the endless well of money that can only be rivalled by how big their pride is. They will COMPEL it to succeed. The same way they freakin compelled Ronaldo to move with his family to Saudi like a good boy.
