Is it Eating my Koi?? | 12-17 days progress

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

The growth rate of our Baby Koi is quite fast now. At 12 days old more differences in length of the Koi start to appear. Some smallest ones are only half the size of the biggest Baby Koi in the outside pond. That brings us some new trouble. Are the Koi eating their brothers and sisters?? You will discover it in part 11 of the breeding series.
The Baby Koi are now 12 days old, in this video you will get an update on their growth and progress until they reach 17 days old. We will do feeding with artemia, crushed Koi pellets, spirulina powder and we have live daphnia on the menu.

Great series! When is the next update? I'm getting ready to try and breed some of my koi for the first time here in the next couple of months during breeding season. I'm trying to learn all I can, and for the most part plan to follow your system. Let us know how the fry are turning out. Hope you're doing okay!

Another great video can’t wait to see the fish when they are larger are gone are one of my favourite varieties the orange / yellow fry should be sanke as sanke and kohaku fry always start off a yellow colour this normally turns to beni the sumi and white develops when they reach approximately one inch very interesting point about rearing outdoors I’ve always kept my fry indoors thinking the extra heat would improve growth but I’m definitely going to try them outside this year and I will be adding spirulina another brilliant idea I love watching videos like this that I learn stuff from keep up the good work

Love these videos, big fan of the channel. Will there be more videos and fry updatescoming soon as the koi season is coming round. Also is there a way you can create videos on buying Tosai, like your guide to videos of the different breeds. It will be interesting to have your views on what to look out for when buying different breeds of Tosai😁👍🏼

Stick to spirulina is contains clean protein Egg yoke isvery umhealthy due to high saturated fat & cholestrol. Just up the dosage of spiruluna & provide more alage, egg fat also fowels & stinks the water up, quality over quantity is important

it would be interesting to see how the Tobies grow up if you separated them all and put all tobies together. I heard tobies tend to have bad quality, but that's odd, maybe they just don't focus enough on them?
