    The Bowers&Wilkins is not just a good sound system. It‘s the best you can get in this class.

    You should try the V60. Smaller but still very spacious inside. And looks awesome, I think.

    I've just ordered mine. When i saw the 2stair boot of the e class, the lofted one of the bmw 5 series (in which i could not find a driving position at 1.95m tall) i immediately knew the v90 is the way. The v60 was on the list as well, but for a dog in the back v90 offers just that bit more. Not to mention the discounts volvo makes here in Belgium: 18% compared to 5% on the bmw..... i think volvo at the moment, in this class offers the best package for your 💰

    I’m actually replacing my C40 for this car. I love driving electric but X/C40 size is so small, v60/90 is much better. Alternative XC60 but it much more expensive than v90 here in Sweden.

    Thanks, yeah we are in an interesting half space atm. It does work if you can plug in but you are charging aaaall the time and getting 0 performance from your car if you use electric only.

    I have enjoyed having an XC60 R Design for two years and I adore it. There is nothing better out there in regards to the big, luxury manufacturers that comes close, especially the interior design and comfort. I am looking at estates for next year and this may just be the answer I am looking for. To clarify, is this model the R Design Pro? Thanks for the great video Sam, it's been most helpful.

    The storage in centre consul is limited due to the battery being in what would be the transmission tunnel. The rear wheels are only driven my electric motor

    Great video! But funny: the driver's seat is on the wrong side, isn't it?

  • @bbogdanmircea
    @bbogdanmircea Жыл бұрын

    Why is the seat on the wrong side haha? What is the acceleration of this T6 Recharge? And can you drive electrically only without turning on the petrol when it is also cold? So does it have a heat pump or at least electric AC? That touch screen only control seems to be really distracting, I would prefer actual buttons for the stuff that is used mostly like driving mode, climate control etc. I suppose it is automatic, that gear shifter area is taking a lot of space for nothing basically, they could have just put a stall on the wheel column and make some useful space there. How would you compare it to a Skoda Superb iV, is it bigger?

    If you want a big car that's small (tardis) and interesting try a 2003-2008 Subaru Forester. I know they are older but they have everything you need and are based on the Impreza turbo. Great cars to cruise around in and full time 4WD. Also technically not an SUV but an estate but is elevated but narrow. pano roof too :-)

    I wish they brought the 5 cylinder Volvo's back but alas emissions regulations will probably prevent that. Still they nailed it with the design and interiors of the recent Volvo's

    A very handsome car 👌🏼 a bit big for my needs at 30 yrs old but if I was 40 with two kids and a dog, this would be on the list for sure. I assume if you went for a petrol or diesel model (not hybrid) then the usable boot would be bigger and the tunnel wouldn’t be so beastly.

    For a long time, I'm thinking that this is best looking wagon on the market, yes it is not the sportiest one, but I don't think it needs to be. One sports car like your 997 gt3rs or new gt3t and this is perfect two car garage if you ask me.

    Maybe the ultimate V90 is the t6 which doesn't have a hybrid system and is also twin-charged. Downside is that it's an earlier model like your old S4

    I just don't see how all the materials and weight put in to cars like these is worth it for 25 miles of electric range ... Be interesting to see an overall life environmental impact of this verses if it wasn't hybrid

  • @sammooresphoto

    @sammooresphoto

    that's an interesting point, you do also get the benefit of the hybrid system even when the battery has run out so your mpg goes up quite a bit. I got nearly 50mpg in mixed motorway and town driving starting from a dead battery.

    @@JIMMYHIBBS1 Recuperation every time you let go of the throttle. It charges the battery. Then the electric engine will help you out at slow speeds which is where you have worst gas mileage. And it seamlessly goes over to gas once you go over a certain speed.
