Exactly. When I first booted I was a little upset. Spent 30 minutes messing around with settings and exploring. Its amazing

Biggest issues with this game is performance and server stability. They need to focus on those 2 things first, and then start adding more content

Don't this crap crashes NON. STOP. I'm talking no exaggeration I had 20 crashes over 2 hours and at one point it was about 10 in 30 minutes...I spent 2 hours trying to do 1 mission and ended up running out of money because I kept losing my loadouts to crashes lmao. And I have a 3080ti so it's not like I'm playing on a Potato.

@@ShadyMike Try not running FSR and rather use TLR I think. Worse bug is losing your secure container. Currently waiting for news.

Using DLSS and FSR isn't a standard practice to be in games, it shows that performance is terrible for you to require upscaling and in a lot of streamer cases I saw them reduce the resolution rendering scale

Its an early alpha my guy, the prio right now is to make the game not crash - making the game flow happens around beta, which is probably far away.

At least you waited to do review, most negative reviews are from 2hour play time or less, with the majority of them complaining about their poor pc

Game is borderline unplayable imo because of the blurriness and pixelation caused by their forced rendering TAA teqnique making playing the game hurt my eyes even in native 4k, spotting enemies is pretty much impossible and PVP is out of the question due to this, trued all settings but came ro a conclusion its just the forced aggressive TAA by UE5, they need to fix this asap, biggest complaint of the game so far its borderline unplayable, not a settings or hardware issue so please no "use dlss/fsr this and that" comments.

Can you elaborate on the spawn back in end up where you disconnected part? i managed to get that done once and thought it was related to me using task manager rather than alt+f4 [had the can't interact with anything bug].. i somehow ended up exactly where i left but was able to interact again. EDIT: Fair overview/review of GZW imho... i'm addicted to that game, but it can get frustrating disconnecting etc - albeit i felt that the situation on day 3 was a lot better already.

I have a 4090, what do you recommend?

For me GZW is a good game if you want a pve experience for an hour or two a day, if you dont no-life it then there's plenty of fun to do. But if you GRIND the game then you will get worn out fast, there's not much endgame stuff to do except fight janky AI (they're fine at pleb level, but once you go into high-lvl areas the jank starts to become overwhelming) or do pvp which mostly ends up in infinite bushwookie vs bushwookie scenarios. I reset my account at lvl18 and honestly the first town is by FAR the best experience in the game, after you're done there the enjoyment drops FAST, so dont rush through it. In a year or two they will hopefully flesh the map out with actual towns outside of the starter towns (which is 1 town thats copy-pasted btw, they're exactly the same) so we have more places to be, because all other places are too small to fit the playerbase, most of the time you'll go to a small zone and its already cleared out and now you have to wait for respawns or die to someone in a bush.

Anyone else experiencing an issue where turning the camera would go really slow? Like stuttering really bad.

I am so bad when it comes how tomake the game playable i would love to have some help im really really bad at it xD

I love the game, however I run around 50 fps with a 1660 Super and FSR on balanced, honestly it looks like sh*t and sometimes its hard to see anything past 40 meters. Overall when they optimize it better it will be the only one game I play for sure

GPU crashes when playing the game? i rather wait till that is fixed. otherwise, it seems like a good alternative for SPT multiplayer. as a ex reserve and lighthouse player, getting a bad spawn once in a while, seems a lot less than my 15-20% insta death spawns

Performance aside, I think the economy is bad. Oh, you finished all your tasks? No more money for the rest of the wipe for you! Oh, you sold a bag full of near best in slot stuff? You can’t even afford a scope with that!

Dunno. It has real jank feel to it. At least thats what i gathered from the videos. Doesnt look great and looks like COD 2 Maybe im just spoiled by tarkov. But 1 thing is for sure. I aint buying a game that still needs 4-5 years of development XD

It definitely looks better than tarkov but it does need some TLC. With that said it is pretty fun

Playing with frame gen on fps game is not for me latency is too high. And playing at 1080p low with dlss quality fps is not good 65-80 most of the time with 3060 Ti. I havent seen a online fps game that is this demanding its even more demanding than latest AAA titles

3080ti, 13 hours & probably (no exaggeration) 40 crashes...I had 20 crashes over a 2 hour period yesterday. This is VERY well documented by the community and even those with high end hardware like us.

Not the vast minority at all. All of my friends are between a 3060 and a 3090, I am the only one that was getting constant crashing. I used the fix in the official discord and now I don't crash at all.

It’s mind numbingly boring though. There is just no reason to care about surviving and therefore no thrill / fear. Movement / audio is also complete garbage.

Its the opposite gameplay loop compared to tarkov, I realized this as I'm about to punch into max trader territory and I can see how much everything costs. You will run out of quests rewards eventually, and npcing items gets you dogwater amount of dollars so you have to pretty much farm the equivalent of labs/lighthouse for gear. You'll care about surviving later into the wipe unlike tarkov where late wipe I'm at 50m and infinite kits.

@@taeyeoff yep and now you have no way to make money and there is no in game economy. Most of tarkov s success revolved around the economy and desire to survive raids. GZW doesn’t even have that

not worth, dlss/fsr shouldn't be industry standart for lazy developers.

The game is dead at arrival. No one will remember it in 3 month. Also - that specs are a joke.

How are the specs a joke? The optimization may be bad for your specs. But my cheap ass rig runs it great.
