When you talk about getting the free Community Day research quest, you really need to clarify that that event you’re checking in at NEEDS to be hosted by an official Community Ambassador. That’s the only way to get it.

@@qulmon32414 Nah, to check in all you have to do is open up the event’s page in Campfire. When it’s close for the event to start there will be a little check in button in the bottom left, I think. But you DO actually have to be at the location for it to work.

Getting all those Candy XL was my overall goal today for the same reason. If I ever get a shadow Goodra with anywhere close to 93 or 96 iv, that's where all the Candy XL is going.

Same Type Attack Bonus- this means that when a pokemon uses an attack that is the same type as it is, that attack will get a bit of an attack boost. So, that would be like Umbreon using Dark Pulse. Both Umbreon and Dark Pulse are dark types, so the move gets a boost to the attack.

I think we have to check in at the event. I’m going to my 2 pm to 5 pm event at it said to check in at the table for the research. This is going to be my first event. So exciting 😊

You gotta join a campfire group in your city that is certified or something by Niantic like embassador or something and you meet up at whatever spot they usually go hunt

@@steliokantos1118 just got done with my first meet up I was able to score 2 shinys but you are correct once in the area of the meetup you go to your campfire and click here and then it gives you a code for the gifts. Was a fun experience

12 shinies and the best shiny was 93 percent. The best non shiny was 96 percent. Could have gone worse I guess...
