I say based on my observations of both titans. Godzilla and kong are equally very intelligent in their own way. In combat both use strategy to give them an edge in battle. Kong is able to communicate with humans, Godzilla is able to detect if a human is a threat or not. They are both unique.

This was very satisfying and well needed. Not only did it give us viewers something so well crafted and documented, but it gave us something that we can easily apply to things in real life as long as it is applied with precision and appropriate understanding. Whereas the plot armor video was rather sensitive and more than likely left some fans feeling triggered or emotional(In a bad way), this one gave intel that could be absorbed and comprehended with minimized chances of toxic and biased opinions and after-thoughts. Heck, watching it made me feel just a tad bit more secure and self-appreciative about myself in my position in my awful life. When content like this is created, it allows for growth and improvement in a healthily and non-one-sided fashion. That’s why I voted for this video rather than the plot armor video in that one poll. When us viewers are entertained with something that can be beneficial rather than just simply entertaining, we can bond with each other and ourselves. Knowledge is a dangerous and complex thing, so we must utilize it with care and awareness of what it can do. Ironic to say because of this particular video’s content. But no matter cause the point I’m trying to make needs to be acknowledged and made aware of so as a means of making content like this more necessary and fun.

I remember in your first face off video & I agree when you said that basically are equal in overall intelligence .
When they were battling Mecha Godzilla and Godzilla used his Atomic breath on Kong's axe, that proved to me a couple of things. He has experience battling and surviving battles with Kong's people who used these weapons. Not only did he know exactly how that weapon works, but this proves he is capable of quick and complex analytical thinking, all while under pressure. This goes well beyond battle experience, but formulating a complex strategy all while in the heat of the moment,. It was nothing short of brilliant.

Godzilla smiled and he is arrogant so he understands facial recognition and emotes. Plus, since he's the last one of his kind he'd have to be self taught as well when he managed to survive without his kin. He knew how to power the axe so he clearly knows weapons as well. Kong doesn't just perform better in a group he also performs better in jungle like environments as oppose to out in the open or on a ship.
I'm fairly confident the Aftershock comic proves Godzilla is not only capable of philosophical thoughts, but is smarter than most humans. I think Serizawa had it right. The arrogance of man is thinking nature is in our control (or in this case, intellectually inferior) and not the other way around. Ghidorah in the novel has a straight up villain monologue discussing his desire to eradicate all life.

See, when it comes to emotional and higher reasoning intelligence, Kong for sure takes it. He thinks very much like a Human instead of a great ape. I think that it is important to stress that Godzilla might have selective memory. It is true that he can remember events and certain beings for eons, but not everything. It is confirmed by Doughtery that Godzilla fought Ghidorah in the ancient past, however the former forgot that the latter had three heads that could easily dodge his atomic fire until after he missed. He most certainly would've used it at some point in the past, so he should've known that using it wasn't a good idea unless he aimed for the chest.

bro this was so awesome to finally see i was desperatly craving something like this :D
The thing with *tool usage* that a lot of people overlook (even some scientists when they conduct studies) is the entire _purpose of tools_ in the first place: Tools are only ever used when the animal/being in question can't complete a needed or desired task without them. Tool usage is an expression of problem solving skills, and the first part of problem solving is deciding whether or not a problem needs to be solved in the first place... Chimps use sticks to dig out insects from trees because they can't reach them with their fingers, and they bother with it because it's an easy source of protein. Crows drop nuts onto roadways because they struggle to or can't break the shells themselves and nuts are a readily available and easily acquired food source. If a dolphin can't get to the fish in a pond or a tidepool, they don't care because they have no need to go there for food; it's not a problem they need to solve. So compared to the clawless and atomic-less Kong species, what problem do Godzillas have to solve that can't be solved with their inherent capabilities? None. Godzillas never had to compensate for a lack of something in order to survive, so they never _had_ to develop or use tools. It's not that they couldn't; it's that they didn't have to.
Godzilla and Kong's intelligence is built in a way for their fighting style and adaptability but in my opinion they are both equally intelligent in their challenges and find a way to problem solve and figure out weaknesses on the battlefield

But combat intelligence is such a thing. It’s like how professional fighters have high “fight IQ”. Godzilla owns this category. In a fight it’s clear Godzilla has the tools and knows how to use them. Even the most fit and combat proficient human being is going to get completely mauled by a lion if we drop them in a cage without weapons.

Godzilla also does well in each category but this is your opinion and I respect that.
Another banger goji Center😁
Wow I freaking love this channel
Kong is smarter but Godzilla has much more experience in battle which means he can defeat king in a battle. In a academic battle kong wins by far because kong has been evolved more

Evolved?
It seems understandable that Kong has more emotional and learning intelligence while Goji has more feral and battle intelligence.
When I read the title I was like definitely Kong but now I know they can be smarter in different ways just depends on the situation thanks for the information🙂
Perfect before I watch the GvK today.😅 Thanks

I don't know where you learned that saying but I'd stop using it if I were you. Knowledge is exactly, knowing what a hammer is. Intelligence or experience is knowing how to use it to it's full potential.
Still hoping the 98 animated series Mutations get their own Ways to Die, they pose a threat to humans and the world

I'm just hoping for another Godzilla series being discussed other than the Monsterverse.
hello Goji Center i am hoping for a video like this through out the future and it is "what if Godzilla didn't have a atomic breath" i'm just here to see if i gave anyone or even you a future video idea and maybe this will possibly happen, and love your videos since you talk about everything and make others have such a deep thought keep it up no matter what
3 weeks is too long. I love your stuff and we need it to get by until the next update is announced. Maybe a video on next Monsterverse kaiju? Renders, origins, abilities? Biollante, Mecha-Ghidorah, and another Mecha-G are obvious possibilities. And since it would be repetitive to have Destroyah be a series-capper twice, he could be sooner than later. I dunno, just make something plz lol
Haven't watched a video yet but I can already tell that considering Godzilla's age he's much more experienced than Kong.
Another thing, Kong spent the first four decades of his life on a remote island. G Man fought Ghidorah, Rodan, probably, a Queen MUTO, two younger MUTOs, possibly Behemoth, whilst Kong only every fought Skillcrawlers. There's a big disparity of experience.

Also a ridiculous age difference

Okay and? That's battle experience not intelligence, kong spent the majority of his time on a island with humans and understanding sign language as a bonus. Has godzilla learned any comprehension of human languages?

@@thouken5777 I defend kong when goji fans overhype him meanwhile literally most of the fanboyish stuff you say literally sums up how much you overhype kong thus I defend goji. I defend either monster when fanboys overhype one over the other.

nice 👍 good job goji center could you do Godzilla vs the titan from pacific ram

Provide reasoning! (this isn't in a serious or toxic way I just want to know lol)
I understand the question perfectly But I feel like I need to mention kongs superior emotional intelligence When king seen mechagodzilla literally wipe the floor with the g man we can assume that he wasnt all that willing to help him as goji almost killed him prior to this But despite that fact Kong put his emotions aside and help Godzilla because after receiving info from gia he quickly learned that he was vital to this worlds ecosystem

Godzilla has emotions too though they aren't as strong as Kong's.
Since we have never met another of his kind I never thought of Godzilla as a Prodigy, but it makes sense and I love the idea that even among his own he is exceptional.
4:12 fun fact: according to the informational books showa godzilla is said to also have eyes capable of thermal vision that means legendary Godzilla and showa godzilla the only ones confirmed to have thermal vision
