I really hope they push a huge patch that updates a lot of the relationship and dialogue systems. It’s one of the most important parts of a cozy game

It’s the main reason I’m not buying it right now.

The dialogue thing is... I don't want to call it a deal-breaker, but it's one of the things that really made me resent Animal Crossing. The game I think did it best (in my limited experience) was Wylde Flowers. They really made sure each character had a million lines to offer (and they were voice acted!!!)

Wylde Flowers is a unicorn in gaming that others should aspire to. If the dev team comes out with anything else, they have my money!

Hie, thank you for the video. I play on cooperation in fae farm. when I join the game I don't have the drone to fight. impossible to get it. how to get it? the quest to obtain it is no longer available.

My friend and I barely made it to chapter 3 but by then we just spent like 5 hours just goofing around and building stuff 😅

Question about co-op? Do you have to be online to invite another player, or can player 2 freely come in the game without player 1? If you’re familiar with Grounded, either player can be online at anytime.

The host of the world has to be online in order for Player 2 to progress.

Can you play with random people?

Could someone tell me this, I wanna buy this game for my niece and I would like to play with her BUT Do I have to buy another fae farm JUST to play with my Niece?

Hello thank you for your comment! Yes you will both need a copy of the game to play together. But it is a fantastic co-op experience!

Anyone have issues when joined players progress is not saved? Husband and I are playing and progress of joined players are not saved and comes in as a new players with upgrades tools, wings and levels progress all lost.

@@OurNerdCorner we checked discord and it’s happening to a lot of people due to server issues (they assume) so our 3rd restart is offline local. Hopefully that does the trick.

The first 5 days were rough to get to. Lots of questing to get through and just like yourself I found it difficult to like the NPCs. Not sure if its their dialogue or design, but its lacking in that department for sure. Attack animations is weird looking. Absolutely gorgeous game though.

Hello :) No you can't bring your character or resources. You start from scratch as a new character.

I hate when a game is like "You need to have friends to play with people" cozy huh..

I gotta say this is a little disappointing. From what I had read in the past I thought there would be split screen with all the emphasis they put on coop. But now it seems, not only is there no couch coop, there is no “true” coop either? I would need to put out $120 to buy the game twice and we can’t truly play together or have houses next to each other, only hop on each others independent games to play a helper. Is that right? That’s a pretty hefty price tag for not very hefty coop. I don’t think we will be pre ordering this one. Thank you for saving us the trouble. Looks like we’ll be playing Stardew again this year lol.

No you got it wrong… yes the other player shares the house with you but the rest of the game is like in stardew valley. The „invited“ player can do all the things the host can do aswell. Its exactly like in stardew! Its not a „helper“ like in animal crossing. So basically you host the game, the friend joins and you play the world together from start to end. Do quests etc. The thing is you cant take your progress with you in an other world. So the friend creates basically a new character for your world.

Yes, TheGamingOfficer is right. It's more like Stardew Valley Co-op. But sadly not couch co-op.

@@TheGamingOfficer Ah ok well that is a bit better. I suppose I could save a bit of $ and get one on steam. Just not sure how “cozy” playing in separate rooms will be. Thank you for clearing that up!

@@TheGamingOfficer more likely I will find some way to get the laptop into the other room. Unfortunately my computer area is very small and only has one good gaming chair. Thanks again for the info though. I was seriously bummed as so many games in the past have promised good coop and then were so very lacking. We’ve tried so many. Immediately comes to mine a Harvest Moon where player 2 is just a sprite, Crashlands where player 2 is a robot that cannot craft, Spiritfarer……ok list kind of goes on and on doesn’t it? And Biggest downer of all? Haunted Chocolatier single player only. But so was Stardew so who knows 🤞
