I watched someone play through a little of the game. The designs that allow you to choose how your character looks, to the pronouns your character wants, to the guy in the wheelchair... it just feel so amazingly cozy, inclusive, and like a big hug to everyone.

After watching the official launch trailer that just came out, I can 100% say that I am getting this game. Yes, it is pricey, but compared to other cozy games the lore and world building knocks them out of the park.

Being able to jump over almost anything is amazing for a life sim, shops being open all the time, etc is a game changer for these types of games.

I am not a HUGE fan of the way characters look in Fae Farm, but Wyldflowers taught me NEVER to judge a book by its cover, and your enthusiasm for this game makes this a Day 1 purchase for me.

I avoided Wylde Flowers for so long because of the graphics I was seeing, but am so glad this channel persuaded me to give it a go. 🥰

I’m really excited to play this. My only problem is the lack of minimap! I really hope they decide to add it because I get really anxious playing games where I lose the sense of direction.

Absolutely same! Mini maps for me are an absolute must, especially for farm sim games 😩

One nice thing about getting older is I can’t tell the difference between the Switch and PC graphics 😅

Thanks to a previous video of yours I already had this preordered, but this video makes me even more excited for it. I love all the little bits of info that are useful starting out that you let us know. One of my big fears with a new game is losing track of time and passing out, love that it doesn't penalize us for having fun.

That is really neat! As a partially blind gamer, it's always great to see a diverse cast of NPCs!

I'm definitely excited for Fae Farm-well, that and Starfield. Also, I still love your eyeshadow; it's gorgeous.

This game sounds and looks so good, I’ll probably give it some time before I play it myself because I’m a little burnt out on farm sims atm and there’s so many games coming out in September, but I can tell that whenever I do get around to playing it I’m going to have a blast!

I love how many things this does right! While I do wish there was a way to adjust the time, the fact that there's no punishment is great! And I love that there is easy fishing. Fishing can be annoying. Glad to see it looks fine on Switch. A mini map would have been great, maybe they'll add it someday.

Wait, I guess I missed that. So you can go all night without being sent back to your cottage and punished like Star Dew and other games? This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I really hate that feature in these games. If shops and mines close, fine, but I should be able to keep foraging, farming, and decorating at the very least all through the night. I don't like my gaming experience to be interrupted.

@@--MAD You can't go all night, but at midnight, you get sent back to your house and wake up at 6 am. So there's 6 hours that you never can play. But you're not punished by losing anything for staying out. I also think it's ridiculous to get punished for staying out at night. While this is a sim, it's not real life. It should be fun.

It got lowered to $40 on PC

I'm irrationally excited for the lack of loading screens. Aside from that, FaeFarm looks super cute and right up my alley based on games I play. I've already pre-ordered and I can't wait for the release!

I was on the fence about getting this one because I’ve played so many farming sims lately. But being a wheelchair user and seeing an npc wheelchair user is just so amazing

Super excited for this, though not totally impressed with the different price options only being available on Steam for the preorder. I want it on Switch but it's going to be extremely difficult to budget the Switch price into my next payday to be able to preorder. I hope maybe they reconsider this in time. Looks absolutely amazing though, so even if I can't afford to preorder (my next pay after, which I could easily budget it into, is on the 8th 😒 lol), I'm very much looking forward to it whenever I can, and of course more gameplay from you!! The option to turn off the fishing minigame and avoid all combat definitely makes this game a million times more exciting for me. The auto equip of the tools, like in Wylde Flowers, is something that definitely needs to just become standard in farming games nowadays too!

Being forced back into your home and having to run back to whatever you were doing sounds like a penalty to me.

I’m getting more excited about this game the closer it gets. Nintendo needs to go ahead and release the Switch 2 or whatever because this graphics situation is really starting to become a barrier. All these upcoming games like “We’ll be releasing on everything but Switch” or just looking significantly less pretty if they do. I’m not a multi console person and my only computer won’t run anything of merit so my choice has been Nintendo since they have the most games I like but I wish they weren’t so far behind graphically.

You had me at easy fishing.....If there is one thing I hate in games is the button mashing mini games, I wish more games would adopt this type of thinking, it sure would make doing things, such as fishing, more enjoyable...at least for me.

@@nomynon5991 My son has a Switch, which I occasionally have access to. I prefer PC gaming and I have already pre-purchased Fae Farm on Steam. If I follow my normal pattern, I’ll obsess over Fae Farm for a week and then start playing other games again.

I tried to get an answer about that from the server but didn't get one. You can always turn down the fps to 30 which would make it run a longer time if 60 is too much

The more I hear about this game, the more excited I am for it. Heck yes to easy fishing. I hate fishing so this is amazing.

My excitement for this game is thru the roof! Will there be seasonal events in Fae Farm: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc?

Have you tried this on the ROG Ally? I really hope it works! I tried Everdream Valley on there and can't get the graphics to load appropriately so I had to give it up.

The game looks so polished and the animations look great! Looking forward to your full review to make up my mind whether the game is worth the price tag.

there is a difference for sure, it's smoother on the PC and more crisp! But not as drastic as other games

Have you had a chance to try multi-player yet? My wife and I are playing a lot of Sun Haven right now, and we find the multi-player extremely lacking.

First of all, thank you for being so amazing! You explain things so clearly and you don't beat around the bush. Your videos show everything I need to know quickly... But not so fast that I can't keep up (like most KZreadrs trying to cram in the info). And I'm not one for commenting or subscribing or getting notifications for KZread but you've got me hooked. So thank you and you're welcome. 🤣🤣🤣 Anyways the reason I'm commenting is bc I'm curious If this game is going to be something I can play on my switch and my PC? Cloud save? Do you know if I'll have to buy it for each platform? I also have an Xbox.. is that an option too? My next question and probably my most important is... Will the price of $39.99 (US) be the official price moving forward? If I don't buy it right now can I buy it on the day it comes out for that price or will it go back up? I'm a single mom and rent is due so I can't buy until around the day it comes out. But I've been dying for a good cozy game to play because DLV is boring me at this point and my PC can't handle Palia. 😭😭😭 I just need a game to get lost in at night while the real world stresses me out though the day. FYI, they dropped the price for the "Base game" to $39.99 on steam. If you purchase the $60 version you get the future DLC included. Switch still seems to be $60.

Well since I don't have a PC, Switch it is. How are the controls on Switch vs PC? I find with a lot of games clearly designed for PC the controls are really annoying on Switch (ahem, a certain Bear B&B game I gave up on).

i was so excited for this game until i saw the dialogue :/ do u think each character will have different scripts at launch or will they just have the same 3 lines and just quest requests? ;-;

So when you initially chat to then before starting the dialogue they have the same couple of lines And then the quest itself has its own dialogue
