Is Every Christian Called to Go? (ft. David Platt)

Really blessed. Missions is the most neglected part of the church. The Lord is directly pointing me back to bearing the burden in prayers. God bless you
I'm preparing for send out as a misionary, so if anyone here want to be my team you can be my prayers team and support me by my organization for accountable and together we work for the glory of Jesus Christ
This video is incredible. In both content and creative execution
We need to be more specific in ways to hold the rope locally, besides praying and giving. Some examples may be: 1-Praying but specifically for missionaries’ concrete needs. That would require contact with them, or reading their prayer letters. 2- Getting involved in funding concrete projects. As opposed to giving in the church, that would require information, and even motivating others to give. 3-Mobilizing locally. That can be joining the Missions Tean in the church or giving a couple of hours in a Mission agency or sharing about the need in the world with others like Students, of retired people. 4- Taking courses, to be better informed and more motivated: like Perspectives, or Kayros, for example. 5- Writing emails of message to encourage missionaries. Just saying Hi, I´m thinking about you and praying for you, would make a difference! 6-Offering your resources to missionaries, or agencies. What do you have in your hands: A house in the woods for a missionary to rest a while, your medical assistance as a nurse or dentist, your help as a counselor, or teacher, or accountant or tech people? Everything is needed! Those are some ideas! Blessings
The production value on these videos coupled with the professional journalistic approach make these an invaluable resource for the Body of Christ. Praise God for your hard work!
May many of our brothers and sisters rise and give their life to God, may they live for God and preach the word of God to unreached people. May nations and tribes return to God with joyful shouts of praise. May God bless the global church.
This podcast and ministry is teaching me a lot about living the Christian life genuinely!
Praise God this video is a confirmation to my urge of being a missionary that I had but couldn't see any way..i understand from this video that there's many different way we can advance the Kingdom of God.... I really loved the way you described every little things so well my brother... God bless you😊

God has blessed me to be a part of the great commission in India. Serving full time, shepherding Deeper Life Church, it's not for everyone to do field duty, it's tough yet as the person with 1 talent parable in Matthew, need to either go, send or support. Rightly said in this video, everyone can contribute, participate and support through being Intermediary prayer warriors as well as financially supporting the missions if possible. Nobody should be left out by burying the one talent in the ground, God won't ever be pleased with those kinda Christians.

Thank God for people like you... Having Revelation about the mission
Great congratulations so many views godbless
I am sure that if many more Christians knew the statistics of where the money goes, we would donate it to better causes. Sometimes when I hear that it’s for missions, I’m under the impression that is going to the most needed places. Please also provide organizations that people can donate to, so we can donate more consciously.
Many are called but few are chosen, so if we are not called, support the ministry
I'm a volunteer jr youth leader at my church. We over 100 kids a week. Each year we do a missions night and teach the kids all of the missions our church supports including local and internationally. On top of that we are the rope hders to our mission in India. We build an orphanage and offer education and the word of God to children in India.
Pray for Manipur, they are greatly affected, and the Christians need help
I was in Youth With A Mission (YWAM) 12 years mostly doing graphics. During that time, I can not name even ONE person the Lord used to bring someone to a saving relationship with Him through me or anyone else. I started a group for those who have experienced spiritual abuse in YWAM & there are over 800 members! Many no longer follow Jesus. I am thankful I did not leave Jesus behind when I left YWAM!
Beautifully said and produced. Thank you for your work!
We need to use caution when doing foreign missions especially and recognize that a lot of missionaries have done damage in the past and are sometimes still doing damage. First and foremost local native Christians need to take the lead. They know the culture and the needs. We need to stop sending short term mission groups who don't know the culture or language with bags of stuff like old clothes, shoes, and cheap toys that was not asked for and is not needed. Instead we need to ask the local church leaders what the actual needs are. Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan's Purse is an example of a well intentioned but bad program. The result of sending boxes of cheap dollar store items is making the garbage problem in most developing countries worse. Holding the rope should be our primary job in foreign missions but we need to make sure our motives are right and the focus is on trusting local leaders to know what the needs are and provide the resources that they are requesting, not what makes us feel good.
Nit you..Spirit must....true prayer.....

Great video. As a missionary myself I can say one of the hardest things of the ministry is to raise support among christians.

No, we only deliver that God has died for our imperfections because we were imperfect. By puting our faith in Him alone and not our works that are filthy because of our sin, we will be saved
But Carey neglected his first wife... 😭 its great what he did but I feel sad about it

If you are not mormon, go ahead and ne a missionary.
To solely depend on others to support you because you are a missionary Where is that in the Holy Scriptures

1 Corinthians 9:3-18 Paul clarifies that those who devote their lives to the spread of the gospel (what we now call missionaries) have every right to be supported by other Christians. Paul personally chose not to appeal to this right, and work for his own living instead, out of personal conviction--not as a general rule.

Reference to Matthew 28:19-20 MOST DEFINITELY
"Every heart that have Christ is a missionary, and every heart that does not have Christ is our mission field!" However, there are some christians who are called/chosen by God to share the Good News outside their place (ex. Paul, cf. Acts 13:1-3); in addition, our Lord said: "when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and up to the ends of the world"(Acts 1:8) therefore not every one is called for overseas missions, but all are commanded to be Christ's witnesses!🙏❤️🤠

Sharing isn't the same as coercion. I partially agreed with you though - use common sense, compassion, and timing (Proverbs 25 - "aptly and well-timed words are like apples of gold in pictures of silver") so you don't become a stumbling block for others.
😊😅😅😅😊😊😊😊
There are _thousands_ of unreached people-groups, but there are _MILLIONS_ of churches! We can reach those groups in *one generation* if we _FOCUS._
So helpful. Keep making great content like this, please!
