Actually for me its the apposite, I use to be a Christian in Iran, i converted to Islam, the problem with Iranians is that they dont understand Islam correctly. Christianity is not complete and many things have been changed inside the bible

I'd never thought that Christianity would spread so rapidly in Iran in my lifetime. May God be praised.

I'm an Iranian Ex-Muslim now Christian. I live in a religious city in Iran and I found Jesus when I was depressed and suicidal, he appeared in my dreams for long 30 times now, I prayed to him and asked to help my family and now my family are Christian ✝️🙏. Since we converted, 90% of our problems have been solved. I'm no longer sad and I live a happy life now. I'm so thankful to Jesus because of him I'm now who I am, I don't think I would still be alive now typing this if he didn't save me. ❤✝️❤

@@raffiminassian2339 i had the same experience i'm very atheistic but since i started thanking god for every good day and started praying, i have been the happiest i probably have ever been, im more gratefull, more confident and have no more hatred. I'm still not 100% sure if everything in the bible is true but there are so many great messages in there that anyone who truely follows it would be a better person that he is now. and that even though it was written 2000 years ago, when people were very violent. Still the bible says to love your enemies and forgive people for their sins.

Why are you so happy? What is it about Christianity that makes you happy about adopting it? I'll tell you why you are happy. You are happy because now you can go to bars and drink wine and whiskey freely and be a "modern" person like those "cool" Americans and Europeans. You are happy because now you can walk down the street without a bothersome chador or veil or scarf and show off your new dress and let the air blow through your hair under the admiring gaze of the onlookers on the streets. You are happy because now you can eat ham and enjoy porkchops with a nice glass of wine just like those cool Christians. Incidentally, do you know who Jesus Christ is? He is the man after whom your adopted religion is named. His teachings can be found in the New Testament section of the Bible (that's the Judeo-Christian Holy Book). HAPPY to be a Christian! Yeah, right, and that's because you like to dress modestly, to go to church every Sunday, and to fast for 40 days eating nothing but non-meat items. I work with an Iranian woman here in the U.K. She told me she hates the regime in Iran. She loves her country and culture but is fed up with Islam. As is her entire family and their friends. That’s why they moved here. I never asked her if she was previously Muslim or what she believes in currently. I didn’t see that as important. It was just nice for her to know that someone was listening to her. It was really sad actually because I could see how upset she was about the state of the country. I hope the Iranians break free one day.

It's normal for Shia to convert into Christianity, Shia religion is different from Islam, it's the religion of worshipping human, like Christian. One way or the other, both are lost religion.

I am an Iranian Christian, and I reject the very first picture this video portraits for Shah of Iran. His sister was also a Christian. And majority of Iranians Love him and his family. Some of academic elites (lefrists) started to fool public opinion and united with islamists, and that's why Islamic Republic formed. Iranians are claiming their country back and want to re-establish Pahalavi constitutional monarchy so we can Evangelize Gospel freely in a normal society. I am an Iranian, born in a normal Iranian Muslim family, became agnostic and soon after atheist when I was around 14 - 15 years old. Heard the savior knocking on the door in my early twenties. No man invited me to the way of Christ honestly. Knew almost nothing about gospels or anything else really, it was lord's will. I have never been in any kind of church in my life. I like to be able to someday. Hearing others finding the lord is heartwarming.

Steven, I lived in Iran from January 1977 to February 1979. I loved Iran and the Iranian people. After returning to the States, I received Jesus as my Savior in August of 1982. It was sad to lose the open Iran to the more single minded and oppressive Iran.... leaders can be so short sided.... then again people can be swayed against a leader seen as too decadent which is a result of free leaders indulging in luxury and wealth FAR beyond a comfortable level of proper rule and thus separate TOO much from common people. In 1988, I embarked on a three month Top Deck Asian overland bus tour. This bus tour took us through Iran, who at the time was at war with Iraq. Being westerners, (I’m Australian), we were all pretty nervous about entering Iran. All the females on the tour had to cover up, (we looked like nuns) and we had to behave like Muslim women whilst in the country. I was amazed and shocked by the hospitality of the Iranian people that we came across. They were eager to interact with us and wanted news from The West. They told us, how they were forced to take part in demonstrations against The West. I can only agree with what you have said about the Iranian people. God Bless.

When I got admitted to the best engineering college of my state Karnataka (India) NITK in 1992, I noticed that most of the top ranked students were from two cities(Bangalore and Mangalore) and invariably most of them were from St John's, St Joseph's, St Philomena, Bishop , etc, all Christian schools!! I've worked with a few Persians. One time, our Norwegian boss was giving a new employee a tour of the workplace, showing off how multicultural we are (this was in Norway; at the time, we had Lithuanians and Poles and one Sierra Leonese and one Nicaraguan and one Icelander (that's me!) and two Persians and a handful of Norwegians and one Bosniak) and as our boss introduced one of the Persians as "an Arab", she (the Persian) really got quite upset. "I'm a Persian, not an Arab! You might as well have introduced yourself as a Swede or a Dane!" (For the record: The differences between Swedes and Danes and Norwegians are much smaller than the differences between a Persian and an Arab - for one thing, the Scandinavians practically speak the same language, and the differences aren't much bigger than the dialect differences between a Glaswegian, a Texan, and a New Zealander), and another thing is all our histories are very intermingled since we started bothering about recording out histories.

I didn't know that there are iranian christians until I come across this video. We took it for granted in the free countries on the choice that we have whether to embrace the Christian faith or not, while our brothers in Iran face such difficult and dangerous situation just to practice their faith in Christ. Amazing.

I used to live in Lubbock Texas. In the 1970’s the Iranian Air Force Pilots trained at Reece (spelling?) Air Force base. Many married US wives and became fast and strong friends with US Christians. When the Ayatollah (Islam) took over, most of these men fled with their families to the US. I worked for an Iranian who flew F-4’s and was getting ready to train in F-14’s. When he fled, he opened a Pizza Inn Franchise. He was a hard man to work for, expecting absolute perfection. I liked him, respected that he was rebuilding a life in the US. I pray that one day that Christianity will dominate Persia and it will send missionaries to the US and Europe.

We definitely have it easier(we still live in a somewhat Christian society) but there is a lot of atheism and lack of faith. I’ve been a Catholic missionary for 2 years. As an Iranian i confirm what is booming more is atheism & irreligion. Most of the Christian conversions among Iranians are necessarily done not because of research but mostly to escape from Islam. The speed of Islamic decline in Iran, a country with a population of 90 million, is very impressive. This becomes more intense when it comes to younger people. It can be said with certainty that 8 out of 10 young people have either become Irreligious or completely cold and indifferent towards Islam! Christianity is more attractive to some because of the influence of Western media, Hollywood movies and the overly dreamy view people have of Europe, a place with a predominant Christian majority.

@@aminr4281 I can imagine that the revolution that may happen to Iran will be very similar to the great French revolution. Lowering religious missionaries from the position of power in society and embracing secularism. One of the few things that Iranians understood much earlier than most Muslim countries (especially Arabs) who still haven't realized this fact was that religion corrupts society when you let its illusions speak instead of logic, science and progress. This is why the cradle of Islam "Saudi Arabia" is still spending huge amounts of money in Afghanistan in the present era to teach authentic and extreme Islamic thoughts in schools and to keep the Afghan society backward and involved in barbarism by educating toxic believers. This is while they themselves are secularizing their country and removing the backward Sharia of Islam from different parts of society, but they do not remove their Islamic appearance because the presence of the cities of Mecca and Medina is a great source of income for them, when millions of losers from different countries spend a lot for Hajj. They do, so the reason for this is the intelligence of the key holder of the Kaaba in the discussion of tourism.

This kind of content is very useful for Christians all over the world to learn to value the gift of faith, especially those from non-persecuted countries. I am from the Philippines and we owe Christianity to the Spaniards. Thank God, our faith is still flourishing and we have freedom of religion. qwerty, I will definitely side with those who are becoming atheists or agnostics as opposed to those phoney and bogus opportunists who are becoming Christian simply to be identified with, and respected by, the almighty "superior" West. I am NOT condoning atheism as I am religious myself; however, my motto is: better an honest atheist than a phoney Christian.

My brother works in Alabama. The FedEx driver that delivers to his office is... Iranian. Married to an American. I've spoken with Iranians in this country. They said yes, the shah was bad, they said.. And the current government is 100 times worse. One minor example. A woman was upset at her husband, so she told the secret police her husband said some stuff against the government. She figured they'd rough him up some. He didn't come home. A week later, she went to the police station. They looked up his name, and said, "Oh yes." The receptionist went to a back office, came back with a package. It was her husband's clothes. She looked up in shock, and asked what happened. She was told he'd been shot and killed, as a traitor. So... now she's a widow, with minimal income to raise her family with. She had some serious regrets... but couldn't walk it back. An Iranian I knew, said he went to a traditional shoemaker/repair guy, about 10 years after the shah was gone. The shoemaker was an old man, not far from the grave- he said, "The shah and his father told us who the mullahs were, for decades... and we did not believe them. Now, the mullahs have shown us who they are... and we are in hell."

That’s what strengthens validity of the bible. It’s a testimony of eyewitnesses close to Jesus. Plus things like Jesus baptism and his crucifixion are not just biblical stories, but facts confirmed by other historical sources than the bible and accepted as true by scientists. Also you are wrong. Aramaic Alaha and Arabic Allah have nothing in common except for being a word for the same language family. I was in Munich, Germany for a two-night business visit in September of 2018, and ran into this Lutheran pastor by sheer coincidence, in that most Catholic city. We ended-up having a seven-hour conversation about almost everything, and I still remember his laughter, at how some Iranian and Afghan economic migrants, masquerading as Syrian refugees, were converting en-masse to all forms of Christianity, thinking it would help them somehow, in a PostChristian Europe, let alone Germany itself. I vividly recall him stating, how most of humanity, is made-up of nothing more than ignorant people, who by sheer coincidence are born into various different man-made religions, due to the era they are in, and most importantly, the geographical location they find themselves in. Along with the family of course. As one might belong to a minority of some sort, depending once again, on location and time. He said he had spent 45 years reading scripture, and studying theology relentlessly. Yet, he still refers to himself as a mere “Pupil”, rather than a man of God. He also found it hilarious, how humanity tends to progress, from Polytheism to Monotheism, and eventually to Atheism over the past 100 years or so. Yet, you have someone who picks one form of Jewish superstition over the other, thinking it might somehow make him different, in a largely secular continent. I completely agreed with him, as I never met any Muslim that actually knew anything of the 6236 verses found in the Quran, let alone their meaning. The same goes with the pastor, who never understood how some of his congregation were in their 90s, and still couldn’t memorize even a little of the New Testament or the Old Testament, let alone dive deep into the theology and history of where it all comes from. Ironically, we ended up conversing in two languages simultaneously, for the fun of it, French and English, along with discussing religion, theology, music, philosophy, science, literature, film, women, and life as a whole. Especially, the meaning of it all. He was truly a Renaissance man, and though he was 47 years my senior. We found much to discuss, due to the both of us, being bibliophiles, diehard erudite, and avid readers. We just clicked, in that very restaurant, sitting in opposing tables, only for us to continue talking for hours on end, as we walked the streets of Munich. Two random strangers, one German, the other an Arab. He a member of the silent generation, and I, a millennial. One of the most enjoyable interactions that I’ve ever had the privilege of having, if not THE most enjoyable. Talk about synchronicity at its best, and a most fortunate stumble by sheer coincidence. Life was very difficult even for the first Christians who lived in Rome and spread Christianity to Romans who believed in pagan Gods, the Christians were put to the Lions if they were caught, but against all odds Christianity prevailed and spread to all parts of the world. It should be much easier to bring the Muslims to Christ because they already believe that Christ is a prophet, but they do not understand the trinity, it's our job as Christians to be patient, and clear all their doubts about our book and beliefs.

Wow this is very informative. From most documentaries that I have watched, the Iranians are very warm and kind people. I pray that salvation will come to this land. May God's Name be glorified.

There is a book entitled The Lost History of Christianity. It details how so many Christian cities were destroyed by Muslim armies in what we call the Near East, most people today do not realize much of today's " Muslim world" was largely Christian for centuries.

I appreciate that invitation to fast and pray for our sisters and brothers in the Church Suffering but we Christians of the earliest Churches-Orthodox and Catholics-NEVER fast on the Lord's Day. We remember every Sunday as a concentration of faith in the Ressurection and the earliest Christians since apostolic times (especially the African Catholic churches-early on never fasted or even knelt on Sundays. After the 50 days of the Ressurection are over I will take your invitation-it is a great one-on Fridays (Christ's death day-or any other day. God bless you and thank you for remembrance of the this powerful gift of fasting in prayer!

@@truefaith1718 The name for God is YAHWEH (LORD in caps in English). Allah/Alaha is just a generic title for God, it can be used for any false god.. Muslims don't know the true name for God (Yahweh) which was given to Moses. My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my childhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Resurrection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.

My grandmother used to work (and still does eventhough she is a pensioner) with refugees. She specifically met an Iranian couple who fled from persecution in Iran, after they converted to Christianity. Multiple attempts on their life was made first in Iran, then in Turkey. It was only after they entered my christian home country that they found peace

I understand this is a documentary with a purpose, but as an artifact of the filmmaker's art it is simply breathtaking, the lighting, the photography, the editing and so on... I clicked on this selection hoping for an education about the current culture in Iran, not a tutorial in my own craft! So beautiful!!!

Very well done. I think I have a much better understanding of Iran now. You pulled the curtain back and introduced the people who have been hidden from view. That was needed. God loves the people of Iran as much as anyone and I have been praying, although without having a complete picture, for the people of Iran. I just feel like God is moving in a very special way in that region right now, more than ever. Thank you and I am looking for the next episode.

Honestly, my outlook on Iran is changed. My heart has warmed to the Iranians, Christian or not. Many people have racist stereotypes, but slowly and surely, no matter how weird a country seems, it's not their fault. We'll be praying for Iran from all over the country.

Iranian Christian here 🙋🏽‍♀️ and I love Armenians!! Grew up with so many of them here in Cali, and I’m still close to them to this day. I’ve always thought of Armenians as our Christian brothers and sisters; aside from faith, our peoples share so much in common. Now that I’ve been a Christian for the last decade or so, it’s only made me feel even more connected to my Armenian loved ones!

It is mentioned in Svetashvatara Upanishad chapter 4 verse 19 As well as in: “There is no image of Him” (Svetashvatara Upanishad 4:19) It is mentioned in Yajurved Chapter 32 Verse 3 “There is no image of Him” (Yajurved 32:3) It is also mentioned in Yajurveda Chapter 40 verse 9 “They enter darkness those who worship natural things (for e.g. air, water, fire, etc.). My best buddy grew up an M.K. in Teheran Iran. His family developed & ran an American type "Miniature ⛳ Golf" Course (Putt-Putt, to some) in downtown Teheran. It was SO popular amongst Iranians that 25 years later in San Diego 98% of transplanted Iranians he'd meet knew of it & had played there. (He'd spot them by their Farsi tongue & say "Persians look distinctive...")

I love the Iranians and they have a special place in Biblical History. God used His Servant Cyrus, the Persian King to allow the Jewish people to rebuild Jerusalems wall's. ​@@victorpaul3527 Regardless of the form, God is still God and thus you are still saying that God is praying to Himself, which makes absolutely no sense and goes against the verses where Jesus(pbuh) says that God is greater than him(pbuh) Rather than twisting things to fit a preconceived belief about Jesus(pbuh) being God, it makes much more sense to take Jesus' words as they are. If he(pbuh) says that God is greater than him (and thus they are two separate beings) then I take that as it is. The problem is that Christians follow people like Paul who never saw Jesus(pbuh) during his(pbuh) life and yet ignore people like James or even Jesus(pbuh) himself. If you honestly read your Bible for yourself and with an open mind (not just what your preachers told you), you would see that Jesus(pbuh) was a holy Hebrew servant of God and that Christians are still bound to follow the Law.

As an Iranian Christian life during shah was great and we were treated the same as Iran citizen , after shah our life and many others turned upside down.
