Man it's such a fucking tragedy that this game has terrible netcode. The fact that the community lives on in spite of the netcode just shows how much staying power the game has. Guess we're gonna have to wait for FighterZ 2. Which I am 100 percent sure will happen, this game prints money lmao

As someone that started out his fighting game journey with, and is still an active player of Blazblue Centralfiction, this is a point very near and dear to my heart

To be fair I was going to say the thing the game isn’t dead I just think it needs rollback netcode pretty much all set and done plus as a content creator it made me inspired me to make epic montages on fighterZ and plus you’re humor and content is really great I hope one day I get the confidence to talk about stuff like this keep up the amazing work man

It's not that hard, Fighting Games are really lenient with inputs now so much so that if you do 236 × 2 really quick it will count it as a Shoryuken motion.

Yeah, thinking a game is dead just because the devs don't actively patch it is foolish. Asking if the game is finished is a far better question. But even then, a finished game is the best kind of game. This is probably THE best time to play this game, with all these characters and everything.

arcsys recently said they could easily put rollback in, it's just a matter of a bit of reprogramming but it's bamco who doesn't let them and hasn't let them since the beginning.

The game died for me when I started getting good and taking it seriously, because it's kind of hard to do so with the netcode

I wanted to start the game since i finally got a pc so why not if it's my first fighting game except smash

And here i was wanting to get back into this game after a 6 month abscence. thanks god. I love guilty gear but i wanna get back in this game and relearn it. Update: they mentioned rollback about a year ago and have said nothing since, immense sadness and cope wash over me. But suddenly a strive cross platform open beta slaps me in the face >:D

there are people playing fking smash bros melee and street fighter 2. fighting games are persinstent games. its more likely for me to die to old age before people stop playing certain fighting games.

Someone finally says it! I'm so tired of these younger players saying games are dead once the devs stop updating it. You know, some people are even saying Smash Ultimate is dead after its recent final character; its insane

The true question is should the playerbase support a game that has a bad netcode?

Y'all can make excuses all you want that netcode is garbage asf how can we play the game when it's always stuttering and panicking and shitting itself? In my opinion it's time for something new that rollback is a myth
