Is Cybertruck's glass really unbreakable? What's the strongest glass in the world?

Who can forget when Elon Musk proudly boasted that the glass in his Cybertruck was unbreakable only to have it shatter moments later?
According to the CEO, the glass was indeed very sturdy, it just lost its stability when the vehicle door was hit with a sledgehammer in an earlier part of his demonstration.
So what is really strong glass? Perhaps bulletproof glass? This material is very strong but not completely bulletproof as its name suggests.
It’s typically made by layering a polycarbonate material between pieces of ordinary glass. The more layers are added, the more protection it can provide, allowing the glass to absorb the bullets’ energy.
The glass in the Cyrbertruck is supposed to be bulletproof but it’s still unclear exactly how it’s made. They call it the Tesla Armor Glass, and it has been described as an “ultra-strong glass and polymer-layered composite” that can absorb and redirect impact forces.
Musk himself has said that the glass is basically transparent metal, but has never revealed the exact engineering behind the material.
But Tesla’s Armor Glass is not the toughest glass out there.
In 2011, researchers from Caltech and the Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory announced the introduction of a metallic glass that was stronger and tougher than steel, beating out any other known material.

Nope, the glass will get cracks in it, but good luck getting through the polymer layer. Didn't you notice even multiple bullets doesn't get through those other types of glass when cracked/shattered?

metallic glass and see through glass are different, metallic glass is an alloy and called glass because its amorphous not crystalline
I love how they show clips of aerogel from veritasium and Nile red videos talking about metallic glass lol
If u didnt know then there's a glass structure which makes the upper part strong enough to deflect bullets but the thin part is easily shattered with your hands.

Any small weight savings on a space craft can literally save hundreds of thousands of dollars. Alon transparent aluminum sounds like a bargan per square inch. It costs $15 per square foot but eliminating a pound of material saves thousands of dollars. Weight is the single biggest cost in getting to space

Wait a minute, glass that's unbreakable?... Then it's no longer glass it's something else, breaking is characteristic of glass. If Elon says a sledgehammer blow(very weak one) chipped a corner, then it's again not unbreakable. And he only hit the drivers door, he also needs to explain the back window chipping it's corner too... Sledge blow traveled through the body? How about you just throw yourself on the the good graces of your viewers and say some version of the truth, you've got daily schedule to meet and that means your attention span is cut up with each thing... You didn't know the research and development department didn't inform you that they goofed up and forgot to test it just in case🤦. And since they didn't tell Elon, they've been negotiating a mine field. And that explains his silly explanation about his unbreakable glass is unbreakable if you don't hit it with things BUT the body of the vehicle itself makes the glass breakable...bummer. Well we started with unbreakable glass that was broken by the thing that was engineered to hold it, and all that work and time not to mention the money that went into making the windows unbreakable and the metal impregnable, instead they made the body unbreakable and the glass breakable... Elon's achievementn are impressive, had he known this truck was not what they claim he wouldn't have brought it onto the stage he's no idiot..pffft sledge hammer took a tiny corner off both windows with one blow, who he think it is?..Thor?!
