I lived in Charleston 30 years ago and it was extremely affordable compared to the NE where I live now. Now that I’m looking to move back, Charleston RE is more expensive than the NE. Ugggr.

I understand. When my wife and I left the NE and wanted to move here to give our family a better life. RE was affordable for quality products. Now, it seams that has flip flopped. We initially looked at Mt. Pleasant, but at the time $400k for a home was crazy to us. In hindsight, who would of thought Mt. Pleasant would be in the $800-1Mill+ range!!!!
