Is the season pass worth getting since I already have the map packs on my ps3 but since it's on discount on xbox store I don't know if it's worth getting it for multiplayer ?

I got on today for about an hour and a half. Didn’t have a single modded lobby. Had a great time. Haven’t had that much fun on COD in years. I’ll be playing it more this week. Feels great to be back.

Tbh out of all of the older CODs BO2 has been the most hacked and most unplayable for a long time now. It's a massive shame because it's the best COD by far.

I would love to see a remastered version. The only thing that is making me say no, is that if they do; then activision will put microtransactions into it. Yes, it had payed DLC like skins etc originally, but if you didn't buy them it was still good play. They would make it like MW2(2022) instead of giving us the original game with upgrades.

When i last played bo2 on 360 there were 42k players online. However the servers have been destroyed with hackers since

Ahhh the pre Black Ops 4 CoDs... Love them. No Sbmm, no shenanigan animations, pure skills.. I still play CoD 4 MW (the really old one), and its one of the best CoDs ever made. Still 1000s of ppl play on PC.

so strange to think that this man sold me mods back in the day 😩

In my experience most modders/hackers play tdm had no problem so far in domination

Some KZreadrs deffo played it up. Glad you kept it real!

Guys we all love this game, we can determine our own community, and we can still swear at each other, and play for a few hours a week to connect and blow off some steam. The rules of larger society do not apply to us here.

Bo2 was by far my favorite. I still get on every couple months and play for a few hours

The will U only has 22 players on multiplayer and 0 on zombies 😢

The last time I played online me and my friend ran into this hacker that made every body run like sonic and was chaos but fun

Remaster with cross play (Xbox v Ps) or do input based match making. No SBMM either, keep it how it was!

IT'S extremely hard to get into a match on the ps3 match, bc of hackers and a glitch that crashes ppl whenever they try to play online

Anyone able to tell my why when I try playing it says I don't have Xbox live and will only allow campaign play not even local? Bought the game again thinking I could play and it's not letting me. Any advice would be great I've already reinstalled the game. Do I need a disc?

If I had to make a guess, I'd say that it's no different to the craze of retro gaming. People are looking back at older games from almost a decade ago and see them as preferable to whatever new games are not to their liking or simply miss playing these older titles, and those two sentiments I sympathize with as I have my own reasons to dislike the current state of gaming, but also because I miss playing these older games.

Playing this game last days Need to say that I using a theatre mod menu and force hosting to kick modders 😂

Over 10k as of the making of this video? Wow! Last time I was playing BO2 multiplayer was years ago, and it was barely getting 1k and gradually dropping. Nowhere near as many when the game has released and during its prime, but 10k is impressive for what used to be at an incredibly lower player base. This makes me want to pop out the old Ps3 and see what I can find with it. A quick update, I just looked up a video that is currently 3 months old, and sadly the number of active players on the Ps3 servers is still in the poor state I remember them being in. Around 400-430 active players, it's okay, but still extremely sad that it's nothing compared to the xbox servers.

it sucks right now cause i do feel that BO2 is one of the best COD games ever, bur since i've gone back on 4 or 5 days ago BO2 is FILLED with hackers, way more so than any of the other old COD games. i am personally not a fan of the old MW2 now because i hate that about half of the people playing run around and quick scope with an Intervention on pretty much every single map, cause it's BY FAR the best gun in the game, but i would rather play that or even MW3 versus the trash that BO2 turned into over the last few weeks with hackers.

FFA is only modded lobbies, sucks to see, but theres alot of tdm and tdm hardcore

Literally a month ago the same people that were saying not to play old COD's because they were all unsafe and hacked (which is true) are all saying the games are back... The only thing "fixing" the servers did was make it quicker to get thrown into hacked lobbies and get your account screwed up.

Yeah I'm waiting for someone to do some kind of analysis on how much hackers are hacking computers through pc. If it's still going on then I can't really get back online.

Activision need fix it disable a theather mode in game or somet like this but probably need fix bo2 maybe petition is good option for fixing this game if activision dont want fix the game petition is good option people

Fast forward 2 months and the servers are almost dead again. 400-500 people playing tops in multi. Such a gd shame. This goes for every single cod that was recently revived, they are all dying again rapidly or completely dead like cod 4

@@EvertCFW i agree with you except for trickshotting infections, i know it will get removed to but sucks to see. Just use a trickshotting menus force host, they don’t have aimbot or any other kind of malicious hack.

I doubt it's kids who have been hacking to turn the game into infection. This has been going on for nearly a decade now on Bo2, self evidential as it's still not uncommon after all these years as the video showed. It's people who are likely old now who were probably in their teens when they decided to hack the game and modify their consoles over a decade ago. That aside, yeah I miss this game too man. It's just a shame the ps3 servers are still in incredibly low numbers in active players. Last time I played they were down to 300, so I checked a video that is currently 3 months old, barely a difference of 130, so 430 players were active when the guy recorded his video. Guess I'll have to get on Xbox to get the full Bo2 experience again.

So no one’s gonna talk about how this guy sounds very similar to “the gaming lemon” who just up and disappeared off of KZread? No? No one?

This game still has so many hackers

(XBOX) ive been playing everyday for the last week, only ran into one modded lobby. i only play hardcore, so that might be why but that one modded lobby was in core, and everyone always leaves the second someone starts cheating and ruining the fun. It hasnt been that bad for anyone wanting to play (PS3) my god, the games broken in so many ways, dont even attempt it. The game has a bug of freezing and stupid ways to fix it. Its a headache…. There probably isnt near as many people on because of the issue.

Steam stats show a different story - all CoD games losing players in the thousands, except for CoD: MW which had a 0.84% increase heh. Methinks it's a playerbase grab, specially with steam promos now. Why do these games still cost 60.00€, even?
