Exactly. Great video! Kiwi here, before Kiwis could become Aus citizens easily especially prior 2002 but changes after changes. Additionally, after Aus funded a party - rejoin Australisia in NZ around 2008-10 which failed. Since then every 5-6years, new disadvantages imposed. Quite recently few years ago, Aus government announced a pathway to citizenship for Kiwis arrived in or prior 2016, minimum income of Au$55k for 5 continuous years. No need through PR. Anyone after 2016 is wishing for another pathway. Otherwise like u said, SCV subclass 444 indefinitely. I honestly do have a nicer image of Canada and even America than Aus despite we’re close “cousins” and Aus is a great country too.

I think just the fees alone make Canada more approachable. When I worked for the AUS Gov I learnt about the fees and was astonished that ppl have to pay close to $10k visa fees just so their family members can come to Australia.

Also forgot to mention - if you haven't done so already, you should do a video about your background / the passports you hold / your passport collection. I'd watch the crap outta that

Recently Australia signed an FTA with India (a weaker passport). I'm curious if one (or both countries) eased their "visa" policies for each other after (the way India is aggressively lobbying thr British to make visas lighter to allow trade concessions for Brits in return) What I know till now is that it's easier for Australian to visit India on e-visa, but not the other way around

I mean, i always disliked Australia, i've thought trans-tasman agreement worked well untill i saw it in your channel, thanks for explanation, one more reason why Australia is not high on my list even though my uncle lives there.

It takes the piss mate even for us British and eu nationals like it’s a joke they literally nearly got sued by the eu because they refused entry to like 40% of people from Romania or Bulgaria even tho it’s meant to be full visa reciprocity
