Based on what I observed, Singapore is very focused on financial and in order to protect the quality of life, people are forced to chase for wealth and be materialistic in order to keep up with the increasing cost of living. People who overlooked on wealth building are been left behind with quality of life dropping back overtime.

New 5 Cs definitely makes sense..great content!

I am 64. I have everything in life. Happy family and no debts and abundant savings, enough for my kid to retire too. Unfortunately, my health is an issue and now waiting for death.

Car, Condo, Country Club are unnecessary. Live in HDB flat near MRT station is financially more sustainable. Credit card is too common already and as always Cash is King.

Cash is not king. Stocks is.

COE is high because it's a big money contributor to government and car population increase with 35000 plus private hires.

Crypto is C also

The lesser you try to impress people, the lesser you get depressed. The last C as in Contentment will get rid the worst C of all - Complain .

There are those that don't take education or work seriously and end up with low wages. They then blame everyone else except themselves. They are a burden to the country.

Car, Condo, country club and credit cards are lifestyle upgrades and usually require costs to maintain and depends how often one utilises for its needs and wants. Cash is still important, providing a lot of options both in short-term and long-term.

For me I dun even dare dream of any, just mere surviving

There's a significance difference between being in an upper class and having money. Country club is also a place for networking among the rich. I have the money but it won't be able to buy me 'class'.

Dunno who invented this rubbish call 5C. Just need 1C call Cash, you can have anything. Even 10 A, B, C. Some have the other 3Cs or 4Cs but loads of debts. What's the point? Rather be a multi millionaire HDB uncle like some.

They are beyond reach. Period.
