I recently got the R16 and I am so happy with it. It doesn't need to be at 16nm to enjoy the full ffb because the base has so much left when you set it at 12nm that really everything is transmitted perfectly to the wheel without getting clipping. And together with the fsr steering wheel it is totally enjoyable, at least if you don't drive vr.

Thanks for the video! I sold my 5Nm Fanatec CSL DD and I'm seriously thinking about buying the R16! I've been watching countless videos for weeks, reading reviews on forums, trying to make a decision. Unfortunately, the source of information is small, the videos are generally old, more than a year or two since recording, and they always seem to be sponsored, which does not convey good fidelity regarding the user's opinion. Your video seemed very good to me and certainly added information about R16! One question: I read some reports that the axis close to the center of this base gave the impression of being somewhat digital, without a range of rawer and heavier information like some other direct drives in this segment category.

Thanks for the review I have the R5 and I'm upgrading to the R16.

huge diference in force and feel of car in acc frome r5 to r16 i love the jump to r16 at 80% in acc you need to strugle to take big turns

Hello Carlos! Could you give your feedback after your upgrade? What do you think of the base? I'm thinking about migrating from the 5 Nm Fanatec CSL DD to the R16, I already sell the Fanatec and bought the KS steering wheel, now I'm studying the base!

I got the R9 and CS wheel for $550 USD on sale. So far VERY good choice, I'm ok with the torque and can recommend it to others. I'm also sure the R16 is great as well👍

The release of the new 12nm base for moza has their line up pricing jacked right now. The price gap between the 12 and 16nm models is too great. The price difference between the 16 and 21nm units is only around 100 bucks, which makes the r21 seem like a much better deal

I will be getting the KS of course! Upgrading from a R5 with ES rim (which kinda sucks)....and getting the SR-P pedals next.

Iam using Simetik K2. Its actually great value for money and quite small. My wife allowed me to put it in our living room :)

Maybe it’s just me but ideally I’d rather not see my wheelbase and have it look like a Race car dash with a front mount. Not like a toy sitting flat on a metal plate. No race car interior looks like that.

Consider also Alpha or Alpha U. Id pick them over Moza… but I feel that I prefer Moza rims :)
