My husband is a retired local 25 iron worker. He dod 33 years

Wish i would have done oron working but just stayed a trucker. 40 years old and i don't think i can do this now.

JE Dunn laborer local 264 here. I live in Kansas City and built a lot of buildings here. Iron workers are fn crazy lol but construction workers don’t get enough praise. We put our bodies through so much every day. Iam 33 and have 2 ruptured disc, my shoulders are fd, my hips are messed up. And iam prolly the guy with the least injuries compared to the other guys. We put our bodies through so much. Iron workers, carpenters, laborers, concrete finishers. Electricians are union but they don’t really do physical physical work. Sparkies just gotta read blueprints which is laborers ain’t too smart lol

And even though I've lived in the U.S 23 yrs,I was born in London,UK to Irish Parents& Construction was dominated by the Irish for many yrs,so I can appreciate the Sweat&Toil! But I have immense respect for good quality Tradesmen&anyone who is Disciplined&works hard! And where I live in Vegas,over 10 ago my neighbor was the Baseball Player Bryce Harper&his Dad who I used to have a chat to ( he was very friendly) that was his Trade (an Ironworker))

@@jaybaz5594 had a buddy his had was a iron worker from the 60s said once he turned 30 he felt the pain he’s 71 now and had to get surgery at 56
