Things are getting intense as the men prepare to battle for their livelihoods overseas... I was there in person for a bit of it and I like what I saw. Truly. Some practices, you see players go through the motions (not always a bad thing, I mean, it IS practice) but THIS one? Watching them get after it is what good volleyball stuff is made of. It is interesting, intriguing and on this morning even attracted the attention of passer-by's, who may or may not even be into the sport. I left the beach feeling good about...well...everything.
