Saw this on Bruce's spoken tour - he played it during intermission. The concert hall we were in has fantastic acoustics and well over 100 of the BEST speakers money can buy. The sound, incredibly loud, was crystal clear. It literally went THROUGH you. Worth the price of admission alone.

I experienced the same thing when I attended Bruce's tour! I just got into the animation field, and seeing two of my greatest passions - Iron Maiden and animation - coming together in this epic song was an electrifying experience!

How do the sound is way better if the sound effects are all over the song :D, in here the song is more like an soundtrack for the video

"The Writing on the Wall" is a fantastic composition by the duo Bruce and Adrian. It's a dark country or gotic western, if you like. It's a mix of styles ranging from blues rock to hard rock, passing through southern and folk music. Maiden worked their magic and transformed the style in their own way with the use of twin guitars, which is one of their essential and intrinsic compositional characteristics.

Nice to see Dance of Death Eddie get some attention by the band themselves.

This is easily their best music video ever, so awesome to see these guys just killing it at this stage in their career. No one else does it like Maiden.

Samurai Eddie is the baddest one yet. That album cover is freaking great! This is most likely the best animated music video ive ever seen. The sound here with sfx is KILLER...!!

No matter how many times I return to this song, it never fails to put the biggest grin on my face

Just when I thought this song couldn’t be anymore awesome they release the SFX version and it’s totally amazing. The story is incredible but enhanced by the extra effects, the song still shines through and never fails to get me to singalong. (Sorry Bruce).

Samurai Eddie is his best rendering since The Trooper. I'm beyond excited for the Senjutsu release.

I consider this to be one of THE sickest animated music videos ever. Hits a lot of the stuff I loved as a kid/teenager watching cartoons and anime. And of course the amazing music.

Dave Murray is a virtuoso of shred and Adrian Smith is an exacto knife of precision. Both Maiden guitar legends.

Sounds much better than first version! This video is awesome- every time I see it I notice new things. I really like the song, it's grown on me since first hearing it. Looking forward to September 3. Already pre ordered Senjutsu. Can't wait to see Maiden again in concert!

Been a fan since 1982....Maiden just keeps getting better with age. Bruce's voice is still amazing both live and recorded.
