"Scream for me" is something the singer has been doing around the world since the 80's. It's definitely a Maiden thing too! Good reaction gents.

Yes it comes from "Live After Death", where it appears during "Hallowed Be Thy Name" as "Scream for Me Long Beach!". After that it became obilagatory for Bruce to "Scream for me" wherever they were preforming at every gig..

They played a full 17 song setlist, this song was half way through. Probably about 2 hour set list. 17 songs and when many of them are well over 5 minutes is a long show. These guys bring and always have. I saw them open for Priest in 1982 and it is still the best double bill ever. Both bands were at their peak of power.

If you book maiden, you get the full set. This was a 2hour set. Like they do every time.

The drummer is the oldest at 68 y/o. They will be doing a European big arena tour next summer, God willing.

On the 5th June 2022 Nicko will be 7O years Old.

Bruce Dickinson, the vocalist, was 54 at the time of this show. He is 62 now.

British heavy metal is one of the best things that happened to the music. 💪🤘

Fun fact Bruce Dickinson is also a commercial pilot. In his off time he will occasionally fly for a British airline can't remember which one. On the Book Of Souls world tour Bruce flew the band and crew in a custom 747 painted up in Iron maiden colors. Ed Force One

You might be old enough to remember that the riff from this was used in the old Lucozade adverts with Daily Thompson

yep i was in that crowd seen them 32 times to date here in the UK just the best live band on the planet and best metal band bar none. you actually get the other bands at festivals go back stage to watch maiden play. they are musician gods all of them

Cheers from Norway, I was at Download that year, Maiden never disappoints, it was a great lineup. And at the same festival I discovered Parkway Drive and was surprised how good they were live, good memories!

Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer, isn't a Londonder, he's from Worksop in Nottinghamshire.

1975 Steve Harris sets up the band, 1980 first album, 1982 Bruce Dickenson , singer joins for Number of the beast album..

Lucozade used this tune for at least one of their advertsba k in the early 80s with Daley Thompson.

Great day, saw motorhead before maiden came on and the flyover was awesome.

I know this is a dated video but for clarity Maiden is minimal 90 mins every gig even festivals and current tour is about 2 hours

Love Iron Maiden music but never thought Bruce was a top notch singer.

Old Man Jim H how can you say you love Iron Maiden and not hear how gifted he is? Ive yet to see a " vocal coach reacts" video where they haven't been blown away by his vocals, 1 guy even questioned if the live performance he was watching was indeed LIVE, and yes, of course it was.

For awesome energy and musicianship, react to Queen's Live Aid set, Wembley in '85. They stole the show. "For twenty minutes, England had a different Queen."

Trying listening to the proper version with Paul Di'Anno - he was fantastic. Di'Anno was easily their best frontman, less technically gifted than Dickinson BUT his singing style and the material was much harder edged.

I respect dianno for the music he helped create and he was a singer. However, if Bruce hadn't joined the band, I doubt we would be fortunate enough to have iron maiden today

Do killers with Paul dianno singing, better energy to their early stuff....

im a huge maiden fan but i cant really get into this song for some reason,im more a fan of their later stuff

I prefer the original from their first album. Pauls vocals work better with Phantom Of The Opera.
