Creo que entrena 7/7 (todos los dias), le vendría bien descansar uno, o al menos hacer entrenos de cardio (resistencia) y si bien el hombre necesita su reserva de grasa, perder 20-25 kilos (pesa 180 ??) creo que lo haría más competitivo. De cualquier modo es una mole. Salud 🤙

I'm more impressed by the fact that he looked like he strict pressed that weight. There was no discernable leg drive - as soon as he had it in position, he just pressed. At a certain point, there will be a trade off between his size and his athleticism. He may need to trim down to get better with the clean, but in doing so, it may compromise his strength on the press.

I agree with this about his and Eddie's. Eddie's is more impressive as it was less of an upright benchpress. Have you checked out Serge Redding's 230kg strict press at the olympics of the past?

You have a very valid point. Though (IMO) he pauses momentarily with his feet in parallel and arms lock after the first step backwards. As long as he is locked out it doesn't matter if he is maybe starting to fall - if he actually has the nerve to hold those feet still - which I think he does - though I reckon another side angle is needed to prove it either way

I was looking at that and then went back to Eddie Hall and saw his record lift. All you have to do is press it overhead. Hall's world record looked far more controlled and made me believe that Hall - on that day - could have done 500lb without issue - but having broken his own world record that day Hall stated that he wanted to save energy for other lifts.

I dont think he has - though he is a tremendous presser. Very few people have ever pressed close to 500lbs and just a couple have done over 500lbs with any real legitimacy I believe,.

Agree; but also this isn't the Olympics and completely different rules. If he got the OK and then down signal; it's a lift Unfortunately comparing chalk n cheese

I'm giving him credit- he's got power. But that movement isn't a functional one in real life. Unless a roof falls on him in an earthquake- if it doesn't crush him first. Does that press really prove somebody is actually strong. Lifting a heavy weight above ones head for 2 seconds then dropping it. What does that actually prove in terms of fitness.
