100% the tusk talon, I've ran a total of different gummys, nothing does as good as that tusk, in north Idaho everything from 6th gear tapped down service roads to the gnarliest rock sections it holds up great.

You won't regret it. I really like the Dunlup AT81 EX crazy grippy but man it wears out fast. Maybe we can get Dunlop to sponsor me hahah

I’m running the Tusk Recon hybrid on the rear now, with a Bridgestone m59 up front. Great combo so far. I really love the m59 and the tusk tire has exceeded my expectations. However I’ve been really thinking about the ve33s as my next rear tire set up Tubliss.

Yeah the Tusk Recon tire is a solid tire for the money. If you like the Recon I feel like you will LOVE the VE33S

Similar here. I’m running the Goldentire 216aaa (90/90) front and Tusk Recon rear. It’s been great really so far, no traction complaints. With 20hrs on it, I see another 15-20 on it easy. I’m considering another Recon, the Tusk Talon or the VE33S. The Talon is at the bottom of my list as I keep things flowing more often that slow and steep. On a 4atroke FE350. Any update or input would be great!

I love the 525 cheater on my 300. What front did you pair with the ve33s?

There's way more life left in that tire. I run them for about 40 hours. They don't seem to lose any performance as they wear. My buddy wore one down to pretty much nubs just to see how it would do and it was still gripping great, although it lost some braking performance, obviously. This is hands down the best bang for your buck tire on the market.

Yeah you can get some serious life out of them and I agree its the best all around bang for your buck gummy tire for sure.

I love mine compared to the shinko and tusk tires with the exception of life. It's hammered in half the time a tusk lasts for me. Out performs in every way though. Especially in looser soft sand or muddy terrible.

Solid tire, but not my favorite for East TN. I’m too light to get the flex out of the ve33s gekotta that I like even at low psi on tubliss. (150 lbs) Im stuck on the kenda Knarly 140/80/18 for the east tn, western nc, West Virginia single track I ride. I’ve ran the IBEX and it’s great, Gauntlet = great, Knarly is my favorite. If you keep them off the road and aren’t a tire spinner they’ll last long enough for me. There isn’t any situation where I don’t have traction with it. Wet, Dry, rocks, roots, hills, it doesn’t matter. 2.5-4 psi on tubliss depending on conditions and send it.

Great tire. Only negative for me is the braking. It just slides. Positives are overwhelming.

I like the stock Dunlop AT81 and that's what I am running on this bike. The Bridgestone M59 is also one of my favorites.
