Maidan was, because Russians named Ukrainians "artifical country and artifical nation", "Khokhols", "morrons" - I read their comments after taking away the Crimea. I will never forgive them taking away the Crimea. I don't care about America and Israel, but Russians have no right do this! They had no right do separatism in Donbass and sent their Russians soldiers later there since May 2014. I remember all, I will say you how this was. Russians murdered in April 2014 councilor from Horlivka Volodymyr Rybak and student, gutted them alive and yet alive throwed them to to river. Why? Because those 2 people had blue-yellow Ukrainian national flag and Volodymyr Rybak hanged this flag on building of city council in Horlivka. Later Russians started murder and torture Ukrainian civillians and throw out them from own homes, so Ukrainian President Poroshenko sent there Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2014 to supress those savage separatists who destroyed Ukrainian public buildings and removed Ukrainian national flags and tridents (tryzubs - tryzub is coat of arm of Ukraine). So Russia joined into this conflict and started war between Russia and Ukraine which is to now. Russians attacked all Ukraine in 2022 with full power. Hazrat Ali (as) never said he is not qualified. He (pbuh) had never spoken and neither he could speak a word against the word of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). As the Prophet announced that Ali is most qualified after him, Ali (as) couldn't say he not qualified. @Sam : there are many problems in Iran. some of them regarding human rights. nobody disagree. but if you're looking for the eternel city of Plato you will search for long period of time.. and you won't find this city, even in US and certainly not in some brutal regimes like this barbaric Saudi Kingdom. the most civilised countries are probably northern ones (Finland, Norway..) but they have very old democracy tradition. modern Iran was born only in 1979 and faced a 8 years war soon after.. it's just a baby comparin to other countries. but who can say that this country didn't evolve ?? look at the situation of women there, compare it with Saudi regime ! look at minorities (again comparing with other countries in the same region). Iran has big talents, 250000 engineers per year, a home made nuclear program, a home made space program and probably the most efficient solar cell technology in the world.. despite a 30 years embargo ! it's just a miracle. Iran is not perfect (yet), but comparing to other countries in the region, it'smaking giant steps.
