Thank you :-) Your whole extended B747SP series is superb--an historic recording of an iconic aircraft. In my opinion the SP was the most beautiful 747--in fact it could also climb higher and at a faster rate... and CRZ at a higher Mach. It was more aerodynamic in having the abbreviated flap system, losing the massive flap canoes and triple-slotted Fowler TE flaps that are a beautiful part of the normal B747. I also note in the videos that the turbine growl in the SP is more prominent in the flight deck, compared to your other Iran Air 747 Classic movies. I regret not flying on our two native QANTAS 747SP-238 aircraft, or indeed on Iran Air while they operated this wonderful aircraft.

Syrian Air only retired both of there Boeing 747 SP two years ago..

Fantastic video, I was fortunate to fly on a Pan Am 747 SP in the early 80's from Istanbul to London via Frankfurt, a unique aircraft, well done Iran Air for keeping them flying so long, as I write this I think now they have the Airbus A340's the SP fleet is retired.

Unfortunately no A310 yet... Only A320 & A300-600 in the Airbus series.

I am not pilot, just an enthusiast, but is it normal procedure to go idle on the power before the tires touch the runway? @31:16

You usually wanna be idle at about 20 ft, usually once you hear 40ft you're going to start reducing.

I bet there is nothing working in The cargo hold 😂 scrapping the floor with the ULDs which I used to Do on there A300B4 600 at Heathrow 😂 The cargo door B747 SP function is in the belly Of the aircraft like the B767
