Depending on where you are Scientists may use the opposite. Here we invert it, instead of dips we use peaks. Otherwise it's the same

I'm a senior in college and I've been watching your videos since sophomore year. You sir are a lifesaver and a gradesaver.

I swear one sentence from this man makes me understand the whole topic better than an hour class.

Hands down the easiest to understand IR spectroscopy vid I found on youtube. The explanation is clear and engaging.

Im pretty sure my chem teacher has seen this video cuz he was dancing with his arm like that in class😂

It's 12:36am and I have my chem final at 9 tomorrow morning and I'd been flipping through my textbook and noticed IR spectroscopy, which I've never seen before, but which definitely will be on the final...so I'd just like to take this time to thank you for saving me about an hour of trying to understand this just from a textbook.
