India got about 30% of the total water carried by the Indus system located in India while Pakistan got the remaining 70%. The treaty allows India to use the western river waters for limited irrigation use and unlimited non-consumptive use such as power generation, navigation, floating of property, fish culture, etc. I believe there is no violation of treaty by India

As an Indian we don't want modifications we want Abrogation and History tells us that many countries have violated many treaties , there have been many instances when a treaty was abolished around world It's our water 💦 we will fight to take it and we will correct the mistakes made by Nehru

Interestingly i am not seeing any place where the actual dispute is being discussed. For example pak telling that the change will reduce my quota of water or india saying that we are loosing our quota of water

Just reverse the position. Had India attacked in 1965, 1971, 1999 Pakistan, what Pakistani would have done with the water flow. Modi was right in saying water and blood can't flow from one place.

The treaty was not with present-day Pakistan it was with older Pakistan which comprises Bangladesh. we have sympathy for Bengalis so we agreed on the treaty but after the separation of Pakistan the treaty can be considered null and void and still Indian govt is coordinating, It is a shame for the Indian govt to issue such notices to Pakistan, India should do whatever they like and should not go to any court where Pakistan is presenting its case. India still values Pakistan and wastes its money on fighting such allegations. Shame on govt of India for entertaining terrorist-sponsoring countries and let the beggars rattle wherever they can.
