மாநில எல்லை பிரிப்பில் பறிக்கப்பட்ட தமிழக நில பகுதியில் கோலார் தங்க வயலும் ஒன்று

2001 வாக்கில் நஷ்டத்தினால் கைவிடபட்டது தங்கசுரங்கம். ஆனால் 2001 கால கட்டத்தில் ஒரு கிராம் தங்கத்தின் விலை சுமார் 450 ரூபாய். ஆனால் இன்று சுமார் 9 மடங்கு விலை அதிகரித்து உள்ளது. எனவே மறுபடியும் தங்கம் எடுக்கும் பணி நடை பெற்றால் இலாபகரமாக இருக்கும் என நம்புகிறேன்.

My parents were in kgf from 1955 to 1960 our house was in new oriental lane. My father worked as a miner in the hole konda shaft. I studied 1st to 3rd std in oriental high school located near coramandal railway station. My father lost one of his leg in a mining accident and became unfit to continue the job. We retuned to Tamil nadu north arcod

I did my teacher's training in KGF.. I love this place

Thank you very much for this research article..we were all born and brought up and studied in our great place KGF. My father was an A Grade Engineer in Nandydroog mines and my grand father was a superviser in watch and ward there .Brings back my old memories and tears .it used to be a great sight to see all minors going to work in their mining uniforms and head lights and the loud sirens going at 12 noon for lunch break and 4 pm for them to finish work. But if the siren blew at odd times continuously it meant that there was a blast disaster inside with casualties.. It was our little England totally with British culture with many Anglo Indians and Tamilians.Its a pity that this great place has become a ghost town after the mines closed.😭😭😭. I go there every year and had built a small Muthu Mariyamman temple in honor of my late father and my grand father in Marikuppam and do 4 annadhanams every year and support some poor people.Proud to be a KGFn Canada
