Portrait mode made me look like a model too. I usually struggle to get a quality photo to update my profile picture but portrait mode made it easier

Jenna - if you read this -- put your left palm under the lens of the camera to keep things even more stable and balanced when shooting (you can still rack focus when needed)

The "Plus" name from Samsung? Apple did it first. Glass back? Apple had it first (iPhone 4), Virtual Assistant? Siri was present since 2009. You gor your first Bixby in like, 2017. We have the new XS and XS Max and neither one of them have the depth of field in the cameras. Is this an additional app?

Switching to iPhone Xs Max from my Pixel 2 XL. It's a great phone, honestly, but the design alone is what brought me back to iPhone... And iMessage and the ecosystem as a whole. What I'm going to miss most is the amazing camera, and I can already see the XS still isn't up to par.

The lowlight probably will slightly less capable to Pixel 2 XL, but overall i think the camera is far better than the iphone X. The video recording and portrait mode are definitely better than the pixel 2 XL and the daylight is head to head due to the smart HDR (like google’s HDR+). But i’ll wait for the pixel 3.

aravind r thats not even an official review. Remember from DXOMark iphone X score is 97, while pixel 2XL is 98, only 1 point difference. The iphone Xs is a huge improvement over the iPhone x, it will definitely be better than pixel 2XL. Just wait for the official review.
