The IPhone XR has a special place in my heart fr, first phone I bought when I got my first job🖤

I’ve been using my iPhone XR for about 4 years now and it’s still a good phone the only bad thing it that it over heats a lot and the battery is not that good and I still hope I can use it for 1 or 2 more years before I get a new one

I think it really depends on what your budget is. If you need a budget iPhone, you still can't go wrong with a XR. I had this last year at the same time I had an iPhone 13, and honestly other than the OLED screen and slightly better battery, the two phones aren't that different. I was getting like 5-6 hours of screen on time with 90 percent battery health. Obviously if you can afford to get a higher model then you should. But if you are on a tight budget and want iOS, I think the XR is still quality and one of my favorite iPhones ever. People complained so much about the LCD display but I never had a problem because it was bright enough and very color accurate. I'm a tech guy that uses his phone heavily and it served me well as a daily phone even in mid 2023 until I got the 13. If you want iOS quality I still say it's totally worth it.

I just need a phone to Communicate and get the job done, and the xr does that really well , I don’t want those fancy cameras and I guess for most people they don’t care about too much for the cameras because not all people are photographs and so on

I still have mine. I love it. I put a new battery in it 2 years ago and my battery health is currently 90%. Won’t be upgrading anytime soon.

Hello, does it mean that when iOS update stopped on iPhone XR, it won't be able to download apps or what? Aside from having the chance to update and enjoy the latest iOS, what is the cons when it stopped supporting iOS updates?

Updates on ios stopped but most of apps u can still use n download new ones as the app can run on older generation of ios.. i say ios 15 n 16 can still run all apps on appstore

My 11 years old daughter is very happy with this phone. Roblox , other games, likee, tik tok … all is working perfect for her

Xr is still worth I use a lot and battery is lot good . Still getting all updates. So much false said in video . 😅

Interesting that you find the device to be slow. It definitely isn't fast anymore and can be a bit slow, but I think it holds up better than phones which were going on six years old many years ago. I am actually writing this comment on my iPhone XR. My daily driver iPhone is an iPhone 12 which is definitely a significant amount faster. I agree that you should not buy this phone in 2024, but for people who still have it, and are OK with it, I see no reason for them to upgrade.

My 14 laggy sometimes and freeze sometimes I think it’s just a iPhone thing lol

I mean compared to lowest tier budget phones I’d rather have the XR but I would definitely rather have an iPhone 12 minimum.

That I think is where some people et it wrong. They called the 10x or 10r. They say the iphone xr but it was the 10 r not xr. It was the 10r. Not iphone xr.
