1 thing that i love about the Xr is the simplistic camera..since I'm not into camera..the Xr fits my taste perfectly..1 good camera in front and 1 at back..looks clean..

I think replacing the battery at the apple store will help a lot in battery performance. Im sitting at 84% battery capacity and it lasts me the whole day (that being said Im not a heavy user). Bought mine in 2019 and love it to death!

Won’t make that much of a difference. You’ll start to notice real performance degradation when you drop below 80%

This been my daily runner for 3 years now I just replaced the battery and it runs faster then ever

The batterylife was insanely good when the XR launched. It's fairly cheap on my local Used/Refurbished market but the 3gb ram is only thing I would consider a downside as the 11 is a worthy upgrade from the XR.

Much like you, my first iPhone was the 5s back in 2016. I've been mostly an android guy, but lately I am frustrated with androids having lesser build quality, and most struggle with static free and good call quality. I wound up ordering a XR yesterday because even in 2023 it's a great value. I had it a few times previously and never had issues with it. Most complained about the display, but it was bright enough and the colors were accurate. Same for the cameras if you aren't a tech person then you likely wouldn't even notice the display or camera. Because the XR just works well. And it holds up against newer iPhones and runs basically the same. At $226 I gave for the one I ordered it's a great value.

@@darbybluish I got the 64 gb version because I rarely go over 35 gb on storage in my phones. It's nice to have 128 gb version to ensure you always have plenty storage but I've never filled up a 64 gb phone.

I have the 11 but I would actually be so happy with an XR it’s not that bad tbh

Depends on your budget, but it’s not a bad phone. I have it. It looks clean, decent camera, great battery life if nee, and it will get the IOS 17 update

I like this phone… it’s like an iPhone SE Plus

The only problem I have with iPhones is apps. The apps I use are unavailable on IOS.

Xr camera better than 11,12,13,14 series cause it’s more natural. Brings the most realistic photo results. I’m thinking about change my 13mini to xr or xs
