Get the XR if you haven't already made your choice. The only difference is the fact that the X has a slightly better display and it has 3D touch (which isn't that useful). The cameras are the same except the X can zoom a little farther. They're basically the same phone but the xr lasts longer and the colors are pretty dope

Xr ( Bigger screen size, Better Proccer. Longer battery. Better speaker) - X ( Better Display, Camera zoom, Better quality. The only thing that stops the xr is the LCD display and no 3D touch.

Thank you very much for this informative video. I upgraded my iPhone SE to the XR just over a month ago (June 27, 2019) and I love my XR. The battery life is absolutely amazing on it. Can’t wait to try iOS 13 and it’s new features next month.

Honestly in my opinion, I prefer the X because it's the perfect size and it's not too thick. Also, it looks better for those who are going to be taking a lot of mirror pictures because the iphone xr looks a bit weird in my opinion. I don't really like how the xr has only one camera because it can easily be mistaken as a iphone 7/8 even though the flash is in the bottom. But it does depend on what you're into. If you want better battery life and a bright color on your phone, the xr is for you. If you want a more premium look on your phone, then the iphone x is for you.

I’d go for the iPhone XR just for the larger display. Own the iPhone 11 and I find the display quality is more than good enough, and just find the size far more comfortable than the 11 Pro Max, and appreciate that it’s larger than the 11 Pro. Looking forward to seeing how the A14 performs compared to the A12 and A13. My iPad Air 3 runs on the A12 and no matter what I throw at it, it runs the same speed as my iPhone.

I love the color options on the XR. I’m not a fan of the size . My X have a love/hate relationship. Mostly love. The size is amazing. Not a big fan of the selfie cam on the X.

The deciding factor should solely be price. Best Buy was selling the XR 128GB for $21 a month for Memorial Day weekend. It was a no brainer.

However i find the xr looking outdated at the back

One feature of the XR, XS and XS max which no one seems to go unnoticed is the ability to record videos with very high quality stereo audio using the phone’s built in mics. It is vastly superior to the mono audio on videos recorded with the iPhone X and all earlier iPhone models. I would choose the XR, XS or XS max over any other smartphone currently on the market because of this feature

I upgraded to the iphone Xr from a samsung galaxy s7 edge and it feels amazing.

To discuss about the poll, I still like the old home button iPhones. Idk man, I still like the iconic home button iPhone designs, it’s really growing on me. The new all screen iPhones are nice, but the front looks almost bare to me. That’s just me though.

I was thinking about upgrading from the iphone x to the iphone XR but after watching this video and a few others I honestly can't find enough reason to switch. The few changes added to the XR are so very slight they border on unnoticeable. Very imfomative video.

I've had the XR for a year now for work and this phone has been awesome for me. I prefer the 128gb if I decide to buy one for myself. The pictures on the XR are really great if you a photo person like myself. I'm stuck between the X or XR because of the dual camera but idk if it makes that much of a difference. Based on the video the XR is slightly brighter compared to others. This sucks bc I'm an android guy.

If I were to pick an Xr I would choose the Coral, I saw it in the store and depending on the light it changes from metallic orange to light copper, so cool! Anyway I wont upgrade for a while, especially with IOS 13 dark mode coming. Great vid!

@@deuceswild6350 For this upcoming I0s upgrade the 13 they say will come with a dark mode--its a setting where it gives the iphone a darker user interface option instead of the typical white setting. I still enjoy my X till today and still no complaints.

Upgraded from 6s Plus to XR and I have to say, I love it! Better battery life for sure and nice size. Got it in red and it just so nice in person. Although the resolution may not be 1080p or does not have 3D touch, the XR does the job and it worth the upgrade if you have 7 Plus or below.

I’m currently using the xs max with iOS 13 and i would say the xr would be the best option. 3D Touch basically doesn’t exist anymore and was replaced with haptic touch (as of beta 2) so you will have the same experience

In real life day to day use it really only gets about an hour more than X if you have settings right. Who isnt around a charger throughout the day anyway or invested in a cheap powerbank?

@@josephpinczer if you've used a XR i dont think you'd say that the battery will only last an hour more than the x. It lasts 2 days tops, w/o charge and moderate usage. Tho it depends on the user. But it definitely lasts waaaay more than the X

I literally did the exact same things on the phones all day. I had to have the brightness higher on the XR as it make it close to as clear as on the X. I had some connectivity issues with the XR, which has been an issue with the antenna location and new modems they have been forced to use. At the end of the day I noticed about an hour or so in battery life difference. The screen is better, the 3D touch is irreplaceable, the portrait mode can be used for everything on X, better connectivity, dual lens, and better portable size. In today's society we are usually around some sort of charge port, be it home, work, car, or portable. Is it worth giving up all those features and reliability for an hour of battery life, no. If need be buy a 20$ portable charger and bang problem solved, if that hour is gonna make or break you.

Thank you! I was looking for a refurbished phone so I can contact my parents if something happens and they are not there. This helped me figure out which one I want!

I'm currently in the process of setting up my XR (it's taking days because my 6s doesn't want to be replaced and I need a new SIM card), and the only thing I wish it had was two cameras. It also doesn't fit in my purse with my drop case on, but the X would. Overall, they're both great phones. My dad uses the XR for work and he loves it, so I wanted the same.

Yet to try a Xr. I’m thinking my next phone should be OLED.

i mean if youre doing photography a lot because youre travaling and stuff thats very important or you use instagram and snapchat often for me i dont use either of this and i like never use the camera lol

3 years later and these phones are selling for like 300 bucks

I got my XR last month and let me tell you it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I compared it’s screen to the XS and there wasn’t any major difference at all! The battery on this phone is on a whole different level. It lasts me 2 full days for a moderate to heavy usage. In short it’s robust. Camera is absolutely amazing and with the smart HDR it’s pretty great with photography. I never miss the telephoto. Single lens does the job pretty well. Face id is pretty quick. Phone is very fast and does not heat at all (coming from an android). Phone is a bit bulky once the cover and screen protector is put on. The 6.1 inch screen feels pretty big and is good to use. Not for the person who likes to use his phone by one hand. XR feels as premium and stunning as the XS/X if not more. In my opinion, just go for it as it is the newer phone and the specs are also good as compared to the X.

Same the battery is just the best! At 11:00 PM (23:00) my battery is around 59/55%.

i gave mine away and am getting a x instead. i hate the xr camera and i hate the size and the thick bezels. also snapchat looked absolutely horrific on the xr cause its so tall and big

iPhone X any day! I use the XS Max. Before that the X.

Sold it for 750€ a day before I got the Max. I actually gave the buyer a 50€ discount for coming over from another town. Was 64gb model, so I got a really nice deal!

Just got my XR I’m loving it so far

me and my iphone 6 are still loving each other until now.

Thanks zollotech I needed this I’m trying to decide between this and the XR can’t make up my mind

Waiting for iPhone 14 to get the 13 cheaper so the 12 is even more cheaper and finally cascade to iPhone x being affordability cheaper.

The Xr is the best to me, it has an LCD display instead of the OLED which bugs me a bit. And with an LCD I don't have to worry about burn in.

Great unbiased video. Subscribed. I’ve got a black 128GB XR, but honestly, if the refurb X was out in December when I bought my XR, I would have opted for the X. The experience is nearly identical, and I was an avid 3D Touch user. Either way, you can’t go wrong, both are excellent phones.

The prices for both have evened out now. You have a very large buying range as far as iOS 14 compatible phones go, but if you're willing to buy either the X or the XR, now's the time to choose since both base models are around $400-450 in mint condition. I personally am going to get the X. I like the range of more refined features and it's going to be a large update from my 5S either way. The smaller size and lighter weight are also nice.

Right 😂 I’ll get the XR the Face ID will save me 2 mili seconds of my time than the X 😂😂😂😂

People don't understand that ppi more than 320 has no sense. Much more important are viewing angles, color and white reproduction. Apple LCD is amazing. I like it more than OLED.

If it makes no sense why do phone companies keep pushing higher pixel counts? Why do phones with higher pixel counts look sharper and less blurr more clear when reading it or watching a video? I think it has some merit to buy a phone with a higher pixel count.

I agree 100%. When I use my wife’s iPhone SE I don’t find it any worse than my XS.

I have xs max and my girlfriend has the xr. After using my phone and then jumping on hers for whatever reason its not as clear and bright. There is a big difference, the oled is just amazing it pops at you.
