Funny enough, a week ago I switched from the iPhone 13 to the Nothing Phone and I'm really impressed so far, the OS together with the 120 Hz display feels soooo snappy, the cameras are good enough, the battery lasts me easily 1 and a half days. Google Assistant is also miles better than Siri and I even like Android Auto more. Only thing I miss are a few apps and my display has a slight green tint that's noticeable in apps like Spotify, but it's not nearly as strong so that it's actually noticeable if you're not specifically look for it.

Actually yesterday Carl pei had a AMA live on discord community. He answered everything, he talked about some of the company's goals and in general he's listening to customers and building a very nice team of people around him. They have great ideas so far. Also some community projects are very nice, e.g. nothing ear app on PC was just created by a community member. The concept section in discord is very nice too and the nothing team actually looks at it and maybe getting inspired.

I always set screens to 60 Hz because I, believe it or not, can't see any difference whatsoever. Not everybody benefits from high refresh rate.

Bought 75 Hz monitor years ago l, though it wasn't enough to see the difference, bought another this time 144Hz + fast enough GPU and then start scratching my head and look for an answer. Even ask the doctor during eye checkup and she said that some people just can't see it.

@@stanisawszczypua9076 ooh damn, higher refresh rate are objectively better in gaming as they give you more information. If you play games, find out if you perform better with higher refresh rates. Maybe you subconsciously will, or maybe you can't see it at all.

Nice to see a review to see it valued as "good enough for me". I might consider this brand when my A42-5G goes down. One specifically chosen for the large battery and 1Tb SD card slot. Added a Nillkin wireless charger and an jack plug to protect holes from debris. good enough for me along with Ibasso CF01.

After starting out with an iPhone a decade or so ago, then moving to android, I discovered I love android much better. Fast forward to just a few months ago and I decided to go back to iPhone because DMS gave me an apple watch. I absolutely love the watch but dislike the iPhone. I want to go back to android but will miss the watch if I do. First world problems! Great video❤️

How do you plan on outputting that sounds from the DAC without an Amp then? Honestly I'd look at the Fiio K7, I've tried quite a few DACs and Amps in the $150-$350 range and the K7 by far has my favorite sound.

Nexus 5 was my fav Pixel too. Still is!

This is a stand out experience... Thumbs up.

Do you have an iPhone 14 review video? I'm currently using a pixel 6 and I'm pretty much done with beta programs. I'm tired of buggy software and having to toggle airplane mode on and off just to connect to visible's network.

How do you use your iCloud data on an android phone? Like pictures, e-mails and browsertabs? Is creating a backup of your android possible to iCloud? Then I would go for it 🙂

What did you charge it with?

I have a request regarding the OnePlus review. There is an issue related playing music via Bluetooth that is only visible in OnePlus phones, (same issue was seen on one plus 5, 7t, and 9pro) when connecting to say a car via Bluetooth, songs played from the OnePlus always sounds thin and compressed, compared to other devices like iPhone and Samsung, (obviously this was tested using the Sampson and the same streaming service connecting to the same car) perhaps this is something you check gives the access you have to high end speakers and such

Really good review as always. I am actually thinking about getting the nothing phone 1 256gb. mostly because of storage. Do make a review about the oneplus buds pro 2. my galaxy buds in in their deathbed. Although I enjoy galaxy buds, I won't mind trying something new.

Bought one a few days ago. Having been in the apple eco systems since smart phones came out (I'm that old...) I was forced to move to android because I am not willing to fork out 1000 euros for a decent phone with average battery life. We now use our phones so much that having to keep topping up the charge, even when the battery is new, is just annoying. I do love my airpods pro, incredibly comfortable. Let's see how well they play with the new phone.

Love this phone Feels like an iPhone with Google OS no bloatware For a 4500 mah battery I can get over 10hrs on strong use Mild use almost 24hrs..mind you I am on 60hrz Camera is decent A13 update coming up this month from nothing support I contacted Netflix is ok KZread is fine Looks like this is my new brand now No more iPhone or Samsung haha Nothing from now on I don't experience any battery drain Phone is light I don't use the notification light so I guess I get more battery life

@@MayankGupta-th3wt it came with TikTok, Netflix, and Snapchat pre installed, the heytap package requests location data and access to scan Bluetooth and wifi networks on every unlock even if you opt out, there's literal ads for spotify, red cable club, $9.99 earbuds, OnePlus gold, and other garbage. It's all in the video I'm making. With visual examples. Took me a while to manually remove all of it with adb shell.

@@DMS3TV Tbf Netflix, snapchat and tiktok are actual apps that most people use and are useful unlike shit like Halo, moj and etc. Idk about the heytap and also don't know in which form you get Spotify ads as I haven't seen a single one in my dad's 10 pro. And almost every company pushes their other products via inbuilt store in their phones. And if this is "heavy bloatware" then miui, colour os, funtouch os etc are 100x worse than this one plus is one of the better ones out there.

I used to have several in the V series. Super cool phones.

And I switched from iPhone 13 Pro to Android last year, now I am using the small S23. And I will stick with Android. Speaking of the signal I also have T-mobile (but in the Czech Republic 😂) and I work in a warehouse and I had Z Flip3, S21 and now S23 and i have better signal then on 13 Pro. Well many times I lost signal on the iPhone.

i really like this phone

The codec support is nice, but generally phones are mostly the same as music players since they almost all don't have headphone jacks.

Still looking for a current phone with 5G LTE with a SD card slot AND a headphone jack. I don't want to downgrade from my current Galaxy Note 9. Why is it so hard to find a full featured phone ?

I have similar experience using Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (the most stupid name I ever heard🤣) . Out of the box it runs MiUi that is full of bloatware, piece of garbage, pretending to be an OS. Phone run ok but nothing special and battery life was not great 1+ day. Then, after a week I unlock the bootloader and install PixelExpierience - basically a clean android. Ohh boy that was a drastic improvement! No more bloatware running in the background, overall mush snappier system and crazy good battery life. Same device, same use and now I have easy 2+ days.

Do you know if the Nothing Phone supports easy bank logins via Fingerprint unlock or face unlock?

I'm about late to the hype/party and so far the phone is great! Unfortunately tho the charging cable don't work so I have to buy a new charging cable.

My personal phone is an iPhone 12 Mini and my work phone is a Google Pixel 6 Pro. I just don’t care about high refresh rate either. I can see it, but I don’t care.

Just think...its just the first phone from NOTHING.....and it gets compared with I phone 14...... eagerly waiting for NOTHING phone 14

well you should have switched from iphone 14 to a phone with the /e/ system from murena. Or going a better recource way to a Fairphone 4 with /e/.
