My 2 years old SE with battery condition 87% (due to many overheatings and magnetic holders) doesn't drain the battery as fast when being worked on (about 4-5 hours on similar test, could have had lower brightness, that drains battery a lot) and has a 0,533% per hour battery consumption when on complete idle (no screen, wifi connected, location on)

That's cause you gotta change your battery. Its not the phones fault. I also have a iPhone 6s Plus and the battery life wasn't good because I had a damaged battery(this happens to all phones one day). I changed the battery at the apple store and the battery life is a beast!

I listen to music while working, watch videos, game, social media and messaging all day long and get around 6-7 hours of screen time. It can never be future proof when it has a design and screen that are well over 5 generations old and a tiny battery for the size.

The s20 only barely losing to the iphone 11 pro despite having a 120hz screen and the less efficient of the versions chips is pretty amazing. Thanks for the comparison, really puts the complaints into perspective. Worse then the SD for sure, but still one of the best.

I got an iPhone 11 and the battery life is great, more than enough for me definitely recommend

Difference between 90hz and 60 Hz on my pixel 4xl is notable, probably between one and two hours, depending on the usage of course as this one is adaptable (won't run at 90 when your are not doing content that actually supports it for example). Based on that I imagine it would be a very big difference between 60 and 120, especially if Samsung doesn't use adaptive application of the higher refresh rate. Tbh I'd keep it at 60 for the extra hours of battery life, 120 or 90 is nice but not worth the strain on the battery and the subsequent quicker deterioration.

i bought a $40 relatively slim battery case that fast charges and protects the SE, for a total of about 4600 mh. It works and its such a small phone that having a battery case on it isn't terrible. 100% not the OPTIMAL solution but i just wanted air drop and an upgrade from my iphone 7 lol. The extra $40 really isnt bad at all when you factor in protection and a low initial cost (relatively speaking), honestly.

Funny that you say that, because actually for having experienced it myself with my old iPhone 6S (and current 7), opening the camera app (even for a short time) just eat the battery away and after testing multiple time, I concluded that if you let the app running in the background, it drain the battery considerably faster even if you're not using the camera at all. That might very well be a bug and I never considered sending to Apple 'cause I though that it would have been fix by now, but it hasn't. It's like that since iOS 10, so it's been a while, but I'm too lazy to even bother reporting it, and I can just kill the app manually once I'm done with it to prevent that form happening. #RIP everyone iPhone battery that don't know this bug exist. lol PS: It's really at 2:18 that you can see the battery drop like crazy.

I have the new iPhone se and I’m on it a lot as we in lockdown. I take it off charge at 7am and by 11pm at night 16 hours later I have still 23% left. I don’t play games though. Battery good enough for a full day easy

Try the same again by setting 60HZ on S20 and on OnePluse

The chip isn’t the issue, if you noticed the 11 pro has a slightly smaller battery than the 11 with the same chip but still gets noticeable better battery life smh. The SE’s problem is the battery size not the chip

Not true, on the few days that i need REALLY good battery life (like traveling, or some other reason to be away from a charger) i reduce the refresh rate on my OnePlus 7 Pro... It would be nice to know what is the best battery life i could get out of a S20U...

I KNEW IT. In another video someone said wow the battery life of the SE is good! blablabla. Knowing Iphone has worse battery normally than android and now it has a 1821 mAh, I knew it was awefull, 400 dollars down the drain almost as I would call it. Battery is so important in phones for a lot of people. Amazing video man! Keep up the good work, I love these.

I have the the se 2020 and I use it like a regular device no KZread or games at all and I could go a aday and half or more as a regular phone like a flip old-school but with new technology. And I'm glad by the time this video ended my other phone the oneplus 8 t-mobile baby is my every thing phone... I learned how to appreciate my se for many years let's say by knowing it's real weaknesses and only use its strengths and 4k video would kill it also but I don't do a lot of videos if any it's out of the pocket quick and keap it moving thanks Arun..
