As a blind man, I love the iPhone SE 2020! Obviously, camera and screen things mean nothing to me. But speed is always a good thing. Works wonderfully with voiceover. Love the home button, love the stereo speakers, like that there is no headphone jack. Great phone for those with visual impairment, especially those who are totally blind, like me. Have recommended it to many.

I followed your tips on how to save battery life. Thanks for the great review and being fair (so many youtubers are hating on SE, but you can't really beat the pricepoint). Waiting for Apple watch SE which i think is a great combo with this phone for most people. Flagship price = SE phone + SE watch

So far, I’ve had the 2020 iPhone SE for 4 months now and I love it. Coming from an iPhone 6S, this is the perfect upgrade I needed. I love the styling of the iPhone 6S and didn’t want to let it go. For $400, the power/capabilities they gave this phone is a steal. ***100% agree with the lacking max screen brightness. I live in Southern California and I do with they added a little more brightness to the screen.

I got the new SE (upgrading from an old 5s) and seriously do not regret it. When I was buying, I was offered a deal on the X (either the R or the S, I don't remember which), but ultimately made the right decision. I don't use my phone constantly, so the battery is more than perfect for me; and I prefer the look of the older generations of phone, but that's my personal opinion; and genuinely prefer touch ID to Face ID because the mask situation. All in all, the new SE is a super powerful phone for the low cost.

I've been using the iphone se for more than a month now the only concern for me is the battery life, because I'm not a gaming person so I don't do any gaming with the phone but I use social media a lot and for me the battery life seems a bit inconsistent because there are times where it passes the 5 hour screen on time and sometimes it dies at nearing 4 hours and it's not like I've been doing anything different than the regular usage. I hope it gets fixed through the software update to optimize the battery a bit more. But other than that this phone is absolutely a beast when it comes to performance. I have not had any problems keeping the apps open and switching between them. It's absolutely smooth with zero lags and when it comes to the camera you're gonna love it that you didn't spend much but you are getting the absolute best. I would say it's almost same to the iphone 11 but hey I'm not comparing it by zooming and looking at every single detail, I just look at whether it's a decent shot and whether I'm happy with the picture. Basically if you want an upgrade for a decent price without touching that $1000 price range this would be a perfect phone for you considering that you're not a gamer :D

I love it! Portrait mode holds up extremely well. Almost every time I go on a hike with friends I bust it out and come out with some great photos of them :) Although the battery does drain quicker than other options, it charges very quickly. And, with low power mode enabled, you can have it easily last throughout the day with intermittent usage. I really like that with its small size I can couple it with a wallet case, and it takes up just about the same amount of space as an 11 or 12. The only thing I don't like, is that the touch id is only slightly more reliable than touch id on my old 6s. If you're sweaty or moving around a lot, forget about relying on it. Just seems far too inconsistent unless you're in perfect conditions. I am considering upgrading to the 12 mini. But it's pretty much solely for the camera.

I swapped my 11 pro max for the SE 2020, I didn’t like the size and missed the home button, and I’m completely hooked with it and haven’t been this happy with my phone in a long time, plus phone bill dropped over $30 a month so that’s a win too

I’ve had my SE 2020 since launch week, pretty powerful little compact phone to be honest, great camera because of the A13’s hardware helping, and surprisingly average battery life for an 1821mAh battery size. An 1821mAh battery should not last as long as this SE 2020 manages to do.However, I work outside and have no power outlet except for a 30min lunch break,or 10min breaks in my car so I can only charge the SE briefly. It gets me through the day of light use,but several hours of music/podcast listening drains my SE 2020 so fast. I kind of wish I would have gotten an XR/11 just cause I work outside without an outlet available to me most of my work day. I think if I worked inside an office cubicle or a desk-job type of situation, this SE 2020 would be perfect. But for me, the average battery life of the SE 2020 isn’t enough, so I may upgrade with the latest price cuts on the XR/11 with he 12’s just releasing.Awesome bang-for-buck iPhone at a great entry price, but using it made me realize I’m actually a heavy user when I thought I had been a light user.

So, yeah, I bought the SE to replace a Blackberry Z10 , and, only because Verizon dropped support for so many features for the Z10. I liked the size of the SE and the price point. So far the SE works perfectly for my needs. My phone is not my primary on line device so I am completely happy with the SE. Maybe as I figure out more of the phone's functionality and uses my opinion may change, but, for now, happy with it as it is. YMMV.

It doesn’t use the same screen protector as 8 or 7, when it comes to those full glued full screen tempered glasses with colored edges. I work as a mobile technician and tried from a few brands, and they don’t fully stick to the visible part of the screen on the left and right sides. So, when it comes to this specific type of screen protectors, buy exactly for SE 2020.

I did not do well with the iPhone SE 2020. The one I had a clicking noise every time I clicked the fingerprint reader. The battery life was not good. It did not charge any faster than my iPhone Se 1st Gen. The wifi was no faster. The cellular signal was no better than my iPhone SE 1st gen. It felt like a cheap build for me. I returned mine. I also got the battery replaced in my iPhone SE 1st gen. I am much happier.

I picked one of these up for $49, yes that's right, $49. Cricket wireless has them on sale right now in store when you port a line over. I$399 was already a great price but $49 is an absolute steal. Thats cheaper than the garbage Android phones you usually get at most carriers. I had a line to port over anyways and figured it would be a businesses line/2nd phone to my 12 Pro Max, but after a few days, I think it will be my new daily driver. This thing feels like a feather compared to the 12 Pro Max, even compared to the 12, and its great to have one-handed use again. Ive been a big phone guy for years, but the 12 Pro Max is just TOO big. Touch ID is great while wearing a mask, and I forgot how much I miss sliding up to access control center. So much easier than pulling down, especially from a big phone, where you need two hands to do so. Having the back tap feature is awesome too. So much that I almost don't miss the gestures of the newer iPhones and I think I hate the notch more than the forehead bezel. This phone does everything great with anything you throw at it. Doesn't feel like a budget model at all. I cannot believe they put an A13 with the updated camera software into a budget phone. Sure, I wish the display were more sharp and crisp BUT, these LCD displays have that pure white look while the OLED displays have that crappy yellow tint to them that I hate. The only real downsides are the big bezels and the absolute trash battery life, especially if you are used to phones with big batteries. Im not even a heavy user, Im not a gamer and I don't watch movies or even KZread videos on my phone. Just some social media sites, some light web browsing, texts, a few photos and this battery is toast by late afternoon. The only good thing is that it will charge back to 100% in less than an hour with an 18 watt charger. I got the Product Red and the black on red look is awesome. Overall, for the price, its a great phone and an incredible value. 8/10 from me.

I get that it looks dated with bezels, but does anyone else just like the look of the bezels nevermind the loss screen space? I recently traded my 11 for an se2. I would argue the loss of screen space was about 10% of the experience, but the practicality of this form factor and touch ID was a 30% gain. The 11 was more engulfing, but the reachability and size of the se makes it a more practical option for every day use. It’s such a relief to use a one handed phone again. I think the 12 mini is going to kill it and will probably be my next phone in a few years.
