Except for the fact I felt that my 13’s battery is aging… it could barely get me through the day with a single charge with heavy usage… low power mode is important

I think the 15 only makes sense over a 13 if you’re coming from a really old iPhone or you’re an avid photo taker. But picking between one or the other as a first iPhone, the 13 is still really great value to this day

I got my iPhone 13 last year and I’m still very happy with it, it works fine for my uses and I’m planning on keeping it for as long as possible. The 13 has to be my favorite iPhone, out of the ones I have had (along with the iPhone X… I LOVED that one).

Well, let's just say I thought the extra 200 quid was actually worth it. And honestly I'm not dissapointed with the 15, it's actually a really good phone.

So I have a Samsung a32 that's 3 years old looking to switch from Samsung to an iPhone never used an iPhone before and the reason for the switch is because Samsung doesn't have a lot of accessibilities on blind and I've been told that iPhone has more accessibilities for the blind would you be able to go over that in a video give me any advice on that that would be great and is there a different from the iPhone 15 to the iPhone 15 Pro to the iPhone 15 when it comes to the accessibilities on that I know this might be a silly question but I'm just curious

One thing that in a few years will show, the 13 has 4gbs of ram like my prior iPhone 12 had. I have 15 now and it’s a nice upgrade from the 12. I hate the notch or the island so that whatever. The outdoor screen is good and I can use my phone outdoors now without struggling to see it with sunglasses on. I miss lightning port because it’s smaller and I have tons of cords. I had to buy more with the change over.

Watching this on my iPhone 15 I love it I got it back in January and will keep it as long as possible. I did have the 13 mini before. That was my favorite iPhone ever. Battery life was just the biggest issue.

Color has always been 100 percent irrelevant to me because all of my $1,000 phones go into a case immediately! I can make the phone any color I want.

This isn’t true. The iPhone 13 is better. It’s notbc is not ugly and dynamic island is. Not everyone can get the latest and “greatest” so we’re happy with what we have.

My iPhone 11 appeared to be dead (it got stuck in what appeared to be the boot loop of death but came out it). So anyway, of the three choices I had, I decided to go with the 15 and after watching this video and a few others, I’m glad I made that choice. This phone is so different from my 11. I’ve only had it for a day, so I’m still getting used to it. Thanks for the video!

I got the iphone 13. But I want the 15 however no high refresh rate with its high price though the usb port is tempting. So i’ll just keep my 13 until the base model iphone has a high refresh rate.

Upgraded and bought a blue 13 from an 8 that I used for years, I’m happy. The blue 13 is the most majestic phone I’ve ever seen lol

I had iPhone 13 mini & now I have iPhone 15 I love it & without the SIM card I was surprised & the usb port!! Trade in so I got money back for it so all worth it thanks Apple & u for this info!!

I like how the background on the left side behind u is black so it hides the notch / dynamic island on our screens when we watch the video

The deal-breaker for me was lack of physical SIM on the iPhone 15. I travel a lot internationally and need a physical SIM chip option.

I vowed to only upgrade every 2nd generation. (BlackBerry to) 3GS to 5, but the 6+ swayed me, then the 7+, 10x MAX….. HOWEVER then purchased the 10XR as a secondary phone and am still rocking the XR in 2023. I love all things apple but had to pump the brakes. Would rather spend to money of an experience over the slight upgrade camera upgrade to photograph the experience. Plus… I can just use/buy an actual camera as that is basically the primary version updates.

What service do you have?

As a colorblind man, these phones look exactly the same to me other then the camera bump color

I’ve had the IPhone 13 Pro and now the IPhone 15 Pro Max. The camera on the pro max is on a whole other level. If you take pics.. this is the phone. Otherwise, the phones are quite similar. So if pictures are not a priority for you.. stay with the 13.

I’ll only upgrade from my current 13 because my insurance expires in April and knowing my luck it’ll probably break. Not to mention it’ll be good to have on hand as a back up.

The 13 is such a great entry level iPhone.

I like how both phones in the thin look the same like u can't tell the difference between the 15 and the 13.

Only one year?? You should wait a few years till apple no longer supports the 13. And if you don't want to wait that long just wait till there's an actual change between phones

Go to settings then photos and there should be a toggle hdr setting in there. Turn it off. It should say view full hdr.

The 13 is the sweet spot. Same chip as the 14 and nicer colors thann the 15. Upgraded from an SE3 to the 13 Product Red after Apple dropped the 13 mini from their line up. No regrets as I get 2 days of battery life from the new phone.

There's 2 types of phones in the 15 iPhone series iPhone 15 ( basic model) iPhone 15 plus ( more bigger)

Your gonna love the 120htz refresh rate, it’s hard to go back to 60 once you experience how smooth it feels on your phone, enjoy your upgrade, your getting a great phone with long time software support. Should last you years.

Rather continue saving and wait to see what 16PM or 17PM have to offer, this way by then the 15PM will be as cheap as the regular 15 now

My mom bought an iPhone 13 last month and it worth's every penny she spent, because it still has powerful performance despite being 2 years old, and by far the best iPhone in this year 2024.

I’m rocking iphone13 and it works great

I changed my iphone 11 pro max only because of the brightness of the display. On a bright day I couldn't read anything on my phone. I had to look for a shadow to reply to the message. It was really annoying. At this point, the phone was losing basic functionality for me. The frosted glass helped a bit. I currently have a 15 plus and I think the display size of 6.5 inches as at 11pm was perfect. Apparently the iPhone 16 is supposed to be even bigger. I really can't imagine it anymore. At work I always carried a phone in the back pocket of my pants. Now I hold him in my hands like some celebrity. I also miss the lightning port. Therefore, I recommend switching to 15 people with really older models. 13 owners have nothing to be ashamed of. These are still great phones. Sorry for any mistakes - English is not my first language

The 16 is getting bigger but the bezels are shrinking like the 15 pros so the size will be slightly smaller, rn the 15 pro max is slightly smaller than the 15 plus.

I have iPhone 14 in purple for a little bit over a year. I was thinking of iPhone 13 in pink last year. Even iPhone 14 in blue,too. My carrier had 1/2 off of the iPhones or any other smart phones last year. Maybe I will get an upgrade or not. I still liked my iPhone 14. It is the first iPhone w/o a home button on it. I still have my iPhone SE(2) in white as backup. Even iPhone 8 in silver grey. I liked to look at iPhone 15. I like iPhone 15 Pro in that blue color.

That is the question, but the processor is only one year's difference. I'd wait for the 16. I have an iPhone 13 mini and I think it's not enough of an upgrade. Yeah the phone's better but every year they're better so I'm going to wait one more year

Ya I would say wait for the 16 or higher. The differences between the 13 and 15 are not worth the upgrade amount you’ll need to shell out

Unless you need raw photography / videography: 15. Lighter, nicer colors, USB-C, better HDR.

I don’t have social media, games and other apps on my phone. I use a lot of the stock apps. So I would choose the 13 if I was going to upgrade today from my iPhone 11. But I don’t plan on upgrading for a yer or two. So perhaps in 2025 I’ll upgrade to the 14.

Latest news suggests that near future phones will have chips and software that can run AI algorithms locally, like snap dragon 8 gen 3 latest showcase; rumors about iOS 18 featuring Ajax, apple's own LLM that'll work only on iPhone 16 and onward, Google's Gemini exclusive to pixel phones. Considering this is it a good investment to buy iPhone 15 right now for 799 just for it to get old within few months, or buy the cheaper 13, and shift to a newer chip that'll run AI algorithms locally, in the next 2 years? Or is this whole AI running locally on phone chips just a gimmick and may not be the next big thing except corporate marketing?

I dont think the brightness is that of a big deal.. since 13 can go 1200 nits outside.. real experience the difference is not relevant unless you want to get blind watching hdr content on 1600 nits brightness.

I am definitely in the minority but I think an upgrade from the 14 to the 15 is worth it for the same reasons you mentioned. Plus, after you sell/trade in your 14, you're not paying all that much more for it

I got the 15plus. The 15 is a great upgrade from the XR, and the plus lets you try the larger size without forking out for a pro max.

I upgraded from the 13 to a 15 this year. My 13 broke on me but insurance basically give a a full refund so I upgraded to the 15 pro. I’m loving losing the notch and 120hz refresh rate and I haven’t even used the camera much yet which is a big reason why I decided to upgrade. The Dynamic Island is pretty cool tho lol
