Your test methods where a little off. you shook the note more and took the iPhone out late. You should probably put the scientific method for testing to use here(the one we learned that In middle/highschool). No offense. Just a suggestion to get best and accurate results

Bigcat 115 the note 8 actually is still ip68 rated with the pen out. It was designed to be water resistant with or without the pin.

It took me 3 days and 1 in the Sprint store to figure out if I wanted the s8+ or note 8. Even though they're basically the same, there's still a number of differences. I went with the note because I don't wear skinny jeans and you can't go wrong with the S-pen and the extra features. Glad I went this route, even though I've had the S series since the S3. Change is good lol.

It's sends the moisture in USB port to warn you to not use a charger so you don't ruin the charger, so you should use a wireless charger when moisture is detected

Non of these phones are "Water proof" Its called water resistant

It doesn't goes crazy, but it recognizes the water like a touch

I believe that I'm not an Apple or Samsung fan boy, I like both companies products and the Note 8 and iphone 8 both have good and bad points and since I have neither of these I have no bias towards either. I simply wanted to see a fair review which you did not give and has been noticed by several other people in the comments. You clearly treated the iphone much more gently. Perhaps you had a valid reason but please don't do this as it's dishonest when doing a comparison?

This doesn’t prove one phone is better than the other, because this is very unlikely to happen in real life. Who is going to leave their phone in a box of water for an hour? Both phones are water resistant, so you should be fine in everyday use, not...you know... dropping it in a box of water for an hour...

Ajijur Rahman not the horn of the iphone is not damaged just wet, I have a 7 plus it is submerged in the pool and then it sounds so ugly ... but after a while when it dries already it is removed even an an app that is to remove it the water to the horn, but it is not damaged. that little flaw I think that's why the iphone has IP67 and not 68. but it's not broken.

Actually its not a speaker damage it happen to my galaxy s7 edge, i bring it to the water and i swim with it while taking picture underwater and when i already dry it with blanket, i try to play some music ans it happen like what iphone 8 do in the video, tge speaker are weird but just let it dry by itself and my s7 edge still alive untill now

I had a iPhone 7 plus sometimes I got it wet not every day and couple weeks ago I had it in my pocket tried to take a picture and camera was full of condensation. Took it to apple store they said warranty doesn't cover water damage two weeks later after being 11 yrs with apple I'm typing this message from my Note 8 and I wouldn't be happier I hope apple goes bankrupt for shitty and boring products they release
