I wouldnt say s8 is around the same price...s8 price already drop a lot, and if you know the iphone price ouside of US..even withot s8 droping price its still way cheaper....anyway samsung isn't the only choice for Android....

That comparison is stupid. The iPhone is perfectly color accurate while his Note 8 was producing wrong, neon-shifted colors (unless that was HDR content). The iPhone is reproducing the colors the way they were meant to look, if you want the Note 8 to do the same you have to set it to sRGB mode (which is in the dev options now, I believe.)

I had the iPhone 8 then use the iPhone X for a bit but ended up going back to my 8 simply because I love the classic design. For some reason I always find iPhone 8 to be more pretty than the X and I just like tochID

I have been here since you had 10 videos you are learning and development HAPPY to see you grow

I actually prefer IPS LCD on the iPhone. OLED screens use pulse width modulation to dim the screen, which is basically turn on and off the pixel in quick succession. It's OK for manufacurers to use PWM but the problem is that the OLED screen from Samsung typically uses 240Hz as its pwm frequency. Sensitive users including myself are getting a lot trouble including headache and eye fatigue.

I hate Apple but if it's a Mr.Mobile Review imma watch it

technoguy no. It's actually a fact. Apple has standard wireless charging. Fast charge via cable but you need a proper adapter for it. It's bs that it's not included

But it's very convenient if you want to maximize the life of your USB connector. Considering the latest IPhones don't have a headphone jack to support extra versatility, that wireless charging will be a much needed addition.

All day battery life does though. This is the only phone I’ve used that actually gets me through a day of heavy use without having to plug in. Plug in at night wake up and use it all day. It’s that simple.

Mr. Mobile makes any item sound amazing no matter how boring it may be. I love this channel!

OMG a youtuber replied to my comment, that's the closest I've ever got to talking to one. I'd really be happy to see such a review because I'm looking forward to buying one at the end of this year. Sony is truly the last compact flagship manufacturer (except the X compact :P) on the market right now and whenever I see The other flagships advertised as "one-hand usable" I am always disappointed like the LG G6 e.g. Small hand people like me can only settle for the compact series phones or two-handed use. Oh, how I overwrote this single comment but I really appreciate your videos and you are always the reviewer I watch as the most reliable one. Thanks for the response and keep up the great content!

Yeah the Compact is a really special little device family. Shame Sony hasn't upgraded its aesthetic since, like, 2012 though. Ha. Still, I'm glad they went back to including most of the flagship features in this year's Compact instead of going midrange like last year. Will try to get one!

Vitycam Do you understand the Note 8 runs on ANDROID? Some people just do not want Android. So, while it’s kind of pretty (not for me), there’s a lot of android options out there, but only one place to go when you love and use iOS on everything.

Sonia Sofer Matte black looks great in any light but the 8's glass back shows fingerprints, can shatter and reflects bright lights ruining the aesthetics

Literally the same phone past 4 generations... Basically apple did iphone 6, 6s, 6ss and 6sss. And than they release iphone x which could be an actual improvement but it's placed at 999$ like that's an extreme premium and futuristic phone but NO. That's just the standars of 2017-2018...

Jörgen Nilsson of course! Because apple tech has never failed like Samsung i mean when apple introduced the touch id on 5s it worked like a charm while as the s5 that was a nightmare to use! And apple has never introduced tech that is not ready or is a gimmick and as we know face id is supported by apple pay! So banks have approved it. Its not a big deal

Thinking of that you have to aim it. Can you lay on your bed and open it to see some mess you did get. Thinks like that do I think can be hard now. Well, i have to test it when it comes :) Testing the iPhone 8 here now. Do find some bugs. When you try to share pictures from the gallery to Twitter it creates small pictures. But works fine if you send the same picture inside Twitter direct. Maybe is it fixed until my review about it.

how hard is it to user face ID or just the standard putting in your pin (Which literally takes less than 2 seconds and with the added speed of the phone this should be a reasonable tradeoff)

This review by Mr M Fisher has definitely cemented my view that the IPhone eco system trounces android, I will be ordering an iphone 8 Plus and iPad Pro ASAP.

I am so gonna switch back to an iPhone from my current S7 edge. Seriously, f*ck that phone. I hate it. I bought it, coming from an iPhone, because everybody said that I should try Android. I did. Never again. That whole thing is so inconsistent, unreliable and already, after ONE year, super slow - even though I tried to move everything that isn't my small app selection to the SD-Card and install a faster launcher. For example that quick start feature for the camera, where you double-press the home button. That worked fine at the beginning, now it takes almost 30 seconds for the camera to launch. I don't care what people think, I'm not listening to any more pseudo advice (not talking about Michael here). Thanks for the Review, iPhone 8 Plus it is.

What's crazy is this is *exactly* the type of thing I heard from a good friend of mine who made the same leap (iPhone > S7 edge). Coming from an Android background, I was pretty floored at how viscerally she hated the Samsung experience, but it makes sense. These are very very different devices. Anyway, best of luck with the move back!

I'm sorry your friends recommended Samsung for you, because it is infamous for it's laggy software. Still while reading your comment, I think you are making the right decision - trust is easily lost and hard to gain back. I have used the past 7 years only HTC phones and have them all still in my cupboard. They are still all as lag free as they were out of the box. Keep this in mind when you get fed up again with the limited OS and Apple tax. HTC, Motorola and OnePlus for example have a much lighter Android skin which have virtually no lag.

It wasn't actually my friends that recommended Samsung. I chose the S7 edge, because many reviews here on KZread praised it as the best Android Smartphone at that time, appareantly, especially for iPhone users. I have thought about the OnePlus 5 briefly but I'm afraid of having similar issues.

C B Well, not gonna lie. Whilst I am enjoying it I do prefer Android as an OS. If Apple didn't have the Apple Watch then I would be with Android right now probably getting the Pixel XL 2 as I love Google. I most likely will go back next year but here's to hoping there's a Pixel Smart Watch in the works.

DD_xShadow funny thing is... My audio technicas sound better through the dongle apple provides than they do through my pixels 3.5 jack and the one I had on my Note 8. The external speakers are leagues better than anything I’ve ever heard too. Oh and even the Bluetooth puts out better sound. Headphone jacks are only better when you include an upgraded DAC and amp.

Tronam Samsung on a global scale dwarfs Apple. Keep in mind Sammy builds, Phones, computers, oil tankers, Tv's, and military tanks. The total number of smartphones sold in the US is very close with that of Apple. It's not hard to tell how Apple has a larger smartphone profit margin. They have Foxconn build a $200 device and sell it for $899. Before buying locked down proprietary accessories that's nearly a 400% markup. It's a business model that makes you scratch your head.

The S8 is the worst Samsung phone ever released. Sure its bezeless design is unique but they put the fingerprint scanner in the wrong position and the truly good flagship is the Note 8. I wouldnt mind buying either the iphone 10 or Note 8 but the pricepoint is ridiculous for a proper smartphone

I think samsung add iris scanner and face unlock So get what u want And im using iris scanner and it works 100 perc at the time & fingerprint position is worst in s8 plus not in s8 so s8 is perfect
