Headphone jack is going the way of the floppy disk, cd rom, flash etc etc. Apple ALWAYS does things like this and the others will eventually follow (how many new thin laptops have cd drives?). Just get over it!!! Makes a lot of sense to move to wireless. We don't complain when smartwatches dont have headphone jacks, same will go for phones and computers sooner or later.

+jhe3903 actually, it only makes sense when they have a better solution like floppy is replaced by thumbdrives. their solution is only either expensive or proprietary and neither adds on or improves upon the current standard apart from being wireless. 3.5mm headphones have never had much problems delivering high quality audio.

Sources says that the removing the headphone jack made it thinner and removing the home button added for extra level of water resistance. Some will like it, others will not.

LOL you guys are hilarious. They didn't REMOVE the headphone jack, they CHANGED IT and gave you new free headphones and a free adapter if you want to use your old ones, and they didn't remove it just to add haptic, they removed it because they made it obsolete, changed the game, added an additional speaker for Stereo output, and it was another unnecessary water ingress point they sealed up. I'm blown away that people are so stuck on not having an antiquated 3.5mm jack.

I use wireless charging now for years! Its so much simpler to just lay down your phone on your table and it loads overnight. Also its better for the battery life.

Actually, I think the S versions are refined versions of the non-S ones. 5S improved on 5, and 6S improved on 6. This is very much the iPhone 7 non-S.

What does the word innovate mean to you, actually what company can always keep "innovation" up. And why is it that people expect Just one company to do it? I'm fine with the way they've been going, the only thing that lets me down is the camera bumps and the sometimes bad software launches. I may be mistaken, but haven't Android phones had haptic ("taptic") feedback for years? I remember my old GS3 having it with the keyboard.

Ecryptix ! I have the 7 plus. They're quite a bit louder, and sound more full. The bottom speaker is probably the same as on the previous ones, but the top speaker adds a lot to the experience.

Wow, so gone are the days when you guys used the iPhone as the Gold Standard to benchmark other phones. Now, it seems like you're more impressed with the Galaxy line, and are using that as the benchmark for the iPhones.

It has the best LCD screen in mobile phones. I agree that it's technically behind but I'm sure that it would have a good display and this is coming from someone who uses the galaxy s7

It does have a gorgeous display. Regardless of the resolution which is not everything especially on a 4.7 inch phone!

Great non-biased review! I liked how you said it's not much of an upgrade from the iPhone 6(s).

Thank you for this video. Makes it a lot easier to make a decision. I have an iPhone 6s Plus. I'll wait one more year before upgrading.

I'll have to wait until the iPhone 8 release, due to my upgrade.

ALL of my ear buds are wireless. I couldn't tell you the last time I actually plugged into my phone. Won't be missed!

I have a pair of bang & olufsen H6 headphones that I plug in but I'll just use the included dongle. Problem solved.

You're pretty much saying that you think it's too advanced for this gen, but it's not.. If Apple wanted to throw all they have and put all their efforts into a phone, then yes, it would, but they're not doing that. They're releasing already improved upon technology little by little just so suckers that feel a need to upgrade to the new iPhone because they think they're cool throw more money at them.. It's a greedy company that has a lot more to offer than it's letting on, and it's disappointing that they don't go all out..

Is the camera quality both the same for the the 7 and 7 plus? Besides the fact of being able to have good zoom in quality for the 7 plus? Only reason I was wondering was because I already purchased the 7 thinking the plus wasn't much different but now I'm starting too have some regret.

Verge is sooooo much better (and less biased) then say 2 years ago. Props to you guys! What brought about the change?
