If you have an iPhone 11 you’ll know why. They use the usb c to A lighting adapter in the box. Most of the new newer chargers will be that way until they finally move over to usb C or eventually no charging port at all, which I think is the ultimate goal

It has never happened before, the price on all iPhones has always been the same on all carriers through Apple's website. Apple can charge whatever they like, just be clear & upfront about it. When 3 out of the 5 ways to buy the phone cost more, don't put focus on the cheaper price. The additional charge is not on the 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max. It's only on the cheaper phones that will be the volume sellers. Most journalists who covered the event have also stated the price increase as being sneaky. Nah, i’ll upgrade next year. Not a much difference for me, 5G in my country is not available yet

I don't know if I should upgrade or not. I have an iPhone 8 Plus and I mainly use it for filming, so the iPhone 12 Pro Max is really tempting. But, my phone is still perfectly capable and hasn't gotten worse in terms of battery life, performance, etc., even after 3 years. I also hear that 120hz is a game changer, and I know I could keep my phone for another year and get 120hz in the iPhone 13 series. Would it be worth upgrading from the iPhone 8 Plus to get an iPhone 12 Pro Max now (especially since I like the new camera and Dolby Vision), or wait another year because my phone is still fine and I could get 120hz?

120Hz is not a deal breaker since iPhones are known to be very smooth even without the high refresh rate and many Tech KZreadrs said the same thing. That 12 Pro Max will beat out the Samsung phones in battery cuz of their optimization.

It looks like an iPhone 4, a huge disappointment is having a battery life that costs still shit just .. an hour less against the iPhone 11. Which is serious and important to mention! At a time when the competition introduces 100x zooms that really work, can charge a flashlight in 30 minutes, has a reverse charge or a flexible display, the iPhone 12 Pro is coming. A phone that was here not once, not twice, but three times.

Go buy a few on Amazon! I’m loving the Anker Nano 20W charger that’s as small as the Apple 5W but is way faster!! Also the Anker USB C to lightening cord they have is amazing and durable!

@@WingStorm lol IPhone does have A14 chip which destroys the note 20 ultra completely with the benchmark scores haha, so what does the note 20 have for performance that sucky snapdragon or exynos chip?? That’s why I sold my note 20 ultra shit chip and performance

It's so hurt they remove charger & earphone. I have no problem when they will remove earphone most of the other brands don't have earphones but they remove charger it's so disappointment for me as a buyer as consumer as customer. I have Xs Max and it comes 5watt charger I want to upgrade 12 series there has no charger in the box that so greedy trick. I am paying money for items which i have to get proper way to get it in the box. A phone and a charger is most important in each way a phone seriously need a charger which they removed is like A Thirsty Human Find For Water In Desert 😐 as a iphone customer I can buy a charger but that greedy trick hit me because I am paying full amount what they need Okay? So I have to get a satisfying return. The price are not lower and extra paying for charger that is TOTALLY GREEDY. I am not to buy apple products because of that greedy strategy. They made every of thing is recycle why not made recycle charger? That is big excuse for making money 💵. There are several types of user who are rich or who are standard some of those who love apple to buy with their savings including me. Apple really care about carbon whatever okay don't made iPhone you can fully save the planet 🌏. If maximum buyers are agree with those tricky strategy later Android companies will do the same thing I can imagine Samsung who can follow those steps. That is like we buyers are accept & push up for those concept. If maximum buyers deny for those that will be go normal like before. 2020 worst year ever we are suffering many of happens including that Apple chargers problems too! Hmm... 2020 really sucks 😔

You can just buy a new charger you know. They did drop the price for both the phone and the charger or accessories. The charger and EarPods cost 10 dollars less now. 5g added about 100 to the phone cost so that’s probably why the dropped the accessories.

I’ll rather buy Z Fold 2 rather than buying 12 pro max at 1800 USD price here in India (it’s ridiculous how they didn’t increase the 1100 USD price anywhere but in India, they increased the price so much than even the 11 pro max). I sold my iPhone X recently to get the 12 pro max, but after this pricing, I’m done with Apple. Atleast Z fold 2 is actually worth 2000 USD (Unlike 12 pro max which actually costs 1100 USD, but we pay 1800 USD, just due to double standards of Apple in India).

If you think a folding phones that is so fragile you can damage the screen with your finger nail is worth $2k you’re crazy lol. Companies adjust the price for different countries depending on the demand and value of the currency there, it’s not a double standard. Apple doesn’t sell very many phones in India, probably because the average income is much much lower there compared to developed countries like Germany, Japan, South Korea, Canada, U.S., ect...

@@d3ar nope. Got my note20U for $700. Samsung gave me trade in so I'll stay with that. Also lets see how much you store with only 256. I also expected more from the 12. The price is reasonable for the max but man 60hz sucks with all the software thats coming out.

@@krypton7713 I’m using common sense, you didn’t read my comment. iPhone prices only fluctuate heavily in countries with low demand for iPhones and don’t have a strong currency. I brought up Japan and other countries because they have higher demands for iPhones and are developed countries so the mass majority of people have way more money on hand, than a country like India. It’s called economics, businesses, and how the international market works. This has nothing to do with popularity, and I never brought that up in my comment, so stop changing the subject.

No offense but is it wrong to say I for real thought you had the iPhone 12 in your hands on that thumbnail and was pissed? No hard feelings but I was relieved.

They need to include a portable Magsafe battery, which can be precharged, that can be clipped to the back of the iphone. Would make for an awesome supplemental battery in a minimalist design.

So basically it’s an iPhone 5 relaunch with 2 cameras added smh 🤦🏽‍♀️

If apple really wanted to " reduce carbon emissions " they could have given a lighting to type A USB cable but they want to make extra money and force people to buy their chargers too. How Cheap !

@@huggyuk what about those who have lost their previous charger or are buying iphone for the first time ? They could have kept it lightning to USB type A so that most people can use with their existing charger, not many have type c to type c chargers

@@keerthan7558 I’m not sure what you’re saying! If they’ve lost their previous charger, then what are they using now to charge their phone?? Apple is not forcing anyone to use the new USB-C to Lightening cable. But if you’re coming from Android, you’ll probably already have a USB-C, so the new cable will come in handy. But if you’re existing iPhone user, you can simply ignore the new cable.
