same i’ve had my pro max since release day & i have no regrets, i’ve always liked the bigger phone & I always regretted getting the smaller version of the phone

yeah the 12 Pro Max's battery is crazy. i get a day and a half to two days out of it. now imagine if they put the 11 Pro Max's battery in it, probably two days no problem.

Recieved my 12 pro max just yesterday, love it so far!

My wife and I are in our 60's. As you get older you will come to appreciate bigger screens. We came from the XR and the XR is the same exact size as the 12 Pro so the 12 Pro Max was the perfect solution for us.

That’s exactly what happened to me. I was using the 12 pro for 2 weeks, then when the pro Max came out I bought it and I had to go back with the 12 pro due to the inconvenience using only one hand.

Love my Pro Max mostly for it's battery life and finally a large screen (coming from an iPhone 8)!! 😍😍😍

I just upgraded from an iPhone 6s Plus to the 12 Pro Max and absolutely love it!!! It’s mind boggling how good the photos/videos come out when shooting in low light.

you should've just kept the xs max for another year or two. Nothing wrong with it and it's a really big phone as well. Of course the 12 pro max is a better phone, but that doesn't mean the xs max wasn't good enough.

I have small hands and still love the pro max, I’ve always gotten the plus size iPhones so I guess I’m used to it. Only thing I really noticed is that the 12 pro max is much heavier than my XS Max was. I’m used to it now and eveything is fine. I can’t see myself going to a small screen.

i have an xs, i don't generally like large phones since i had a 6 as well but i'm thinking going for the max bc of the display. do you think it's a worthy upgrade from an xs?

I love my 12 Pro. Beautiful pictures and high quality videos. I chose the Pro knowing it could be used one-handed and be pocketable. Maybe not the best value, but satisfied with my choice, knowing it will serve me well for years to come

I went from a 6S Plus to a 12 Pro Max. Definitely no regrets love the larger screen so much faster and amazing battery life plus the camera is just awesome.

My wife wanted the 12 pro max Im The type that I like having the best of the best also, but I feel the same way it’s just not comfortable to hold very long or pack around in your pocket all day. I got the 12 pro and I love it!

The pro max have a difference in sound, i'm a dj producer and listen to music everyday, almost all day. The pro max have better bass than the pro.

Got the 12 Pro Max. Totally used to large phones. After almost two weeks, I barely notice the size or weight. As far as the feature set of the 12 Pro Max, better to have them and not need them as well as less chance of buyer's remorse.

I'm so glad I followed my mind. I went with the 12 Pro. My daughter got the 12 Pro Max Thursday and she's taking it back to Verizon. She said it's too much phone.

I'm doing the same thing. as much as i like the promax, it's just too big, and a bit heavy too, and if you got the case on, it makes it even worse, and i do like to use my phone with one hand. Gonna get pro, and to be fair i never had the plus versions, they always seemed a bit too big.

davpzdu I’m the type that likes big phones (I currently own the xR which is not too big or too small) but I’ve been feeling very nostalgic lately and want to use the old phones (like blackberry, Motorola) And so now I want to purchase the Samsung z flip (Bc it’s a flip phone and kinda reminds me of the flip phones from back then) but it’s just way too expensive

I’m loving the 12 Pro Max, it’s perfect for me.

I have an iPhone X (5.8in display) and when I held my friends iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7in display) that thing felt absolutely massive. I’m sure it wouldn’t be an issue with two handed use but trying to use it with one hand is too uncomfortable. I genuinely think a 6in display is the cut off for constant one handed use without it being uncomfortable or inefficient. On the other hand, the screen on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is just so awesome and I’ve heard great things about the battery life.

Mistake: I bought the IP12 Pro Max without trying it in the hand first. Compared to my Samsung S20+ it has the same good immersive 6.7 in screen. The 2 problems are the bigger width and weight both of which make it uncomfortable to hold. At 228g it is 42g heavier or 22.5% heavier. Together not pleasant and will buy the Pro next time. Overall the S20+ is the much better experience of large screen without the width or weight issues.

People can keep their 12’s/12 pro’s, nothing is comparable to the max’s immersive screen and battery

For those who can handle the size and weight, probably so.

The 12 pro max is an amazing phone. It’s going to be so good for a long time and you can’t beat a bigger screen these days especially since people are in the house all day. Honestly you get used to the size after a while. Of course if you have a bunch of smaller phones and you’re constantly switching then you’re going to over exaggerate the size.

I already have the 12 Pro Max. I love it!

I had the 12 pro max and returned it for the 12 pro because the benefits did not outweigh the size and handling hassle for me. no regrets

For a price difference of just $100, it makes sense to go for the Pro Max that packs a bigger screen and bigger battery. The primary reason to stick with the Pro would be size preference.

I felt the same way you did when I got my 12 Pro Max last month... but I’ve gotten used to the size since then. The main issue is the weight of the phone when I’m wearing anything without a belt. Though, I think the pros of the Max outweighs the cons.

I’m ordered the pro cuz it better for me and I’m so excited it gets delivered tomorrow

I used to have the iPhone X and I finally upgraded to the 12 pro max silver and I have no regrets!! Can you tell me more about battery life?

I upgraded from my 6S Plus to the 12 Pro Max just a week or so ago. The overall size is almost identical, just with the waaay more screen on the 12, so I'm really loving it. One-handed use can be kind of hard, more so than the 6 because the screen stretches farther up, but it's not too bad for me. I can still swipe type okay with one hand. Also the battery life is insane, though I can only compare it to the 6 and not the other 12. I'm definitely gad I went with the Pro Max over the Pro.

Just bought 12 pro yesterday. Seems like my hand 🤚 said he needs max version. Pro is quite tiny

@@shayansharif4766 yep everything is snappy and smooth like the pro models. Battery on the 12 has been very good while using 5g however I turned it off because the 5g in my area is actually the same speed and sometimes less and with it off I’m getting over 6.5 hours of screen on time

People are sleeping on the 12 Pro but it’s probably the best iPhone released this year based on form factor and power. I have an iPad Pro do I didnt need the largest phone. Definitely loving this device

@@ibeast365 battery life is great on the 12 pro. I had the 11 pro max and went to the 12 pro this year. You can tell a slight difference in battery life between the two but it’s not significant to me

I actually upgraded to 12 Pro from my iPhone XS Max because of changing my carrier and I am a little disappointed about the little screen loss difference from my old XS Max but it’s actually really good phone though and quite fits my hand and much easier to grip and does perfectly fine now. Most of all really loved the camera settings such as night mode and portrait mode and shooting 4K videos.

I think that the cameras are just so good now that you can’t see the difference.

As a girl, I have giant hands and I make LOTS of grammar errors on the smaller phones. I also am blind as a bat to I love a big screen.

Yeah girl I’m also totally blind and I love the screen bigger screen. I upgraded from my iPhone 8 to my 11 Pro Max in 2019. Yeah the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a great battery power. but after listening to this video I May upgrade to the 12 Pro Max or wait for the 15 Pro Max! Which will be released in 2023 LOL

I also have the XR and want to buy either the 12pro or max !! how is the camera on 12 pro?? And are u still loving the 12 pro?

I dropped a small boxcutter on my screen of the 12 Pro Max at work, and the blade was out. So far i know the blade didnt hit the screen. I cleaned my screen immediately to see if it had a scratch or other damage, but i could not find anything on my screen. Back home i used cleaner for screens and checked again to make sure, and again no damage at all.

Great video, I really like the camera side by side comparison and commentary

I have the Max and I don't feel it's too big or heavy at all! I love it so far. I think the benefits will reveal themselves later on.

There are already reports about finger strain, I suspect we'll see a new generation of people with indents on their fingers from constant use of heavy smartphones.

I’m getting the iPhone 12 pro max this Saturday I can’t wait coming from my current IPhone SE I’m so exited 👍

Love my pro max. Mainly for the bigger screen. I like having a large screen. The camera is great as well. I have big hands and long fingers so I can hold and use it one handed with no problem. No soreness as he describes. I think to each their own. Any one one of the 12 line up is going to be great. I love this new design. The squared edges make it easier to hold and it looks amazing.

I bought a popsocket to go with my 12 Pro Max. Def alleviated the hand strain but I LOVE IT!

Coming over from a note 9, anything less than the pro Max would have felt like a downgrade.

My dream is that vloggers stop saying "hey guys!" (or a variation of it) at the start of their videos. It's a dream.

I think 12 Pro Max is not too big for me because I own one right now and I love it so much so I decide to keep it as my main device.

Thank you for comforting me on my 12 pro purchased! When big is too big? I personally believe Pro max is right at that edge...

Upgrading from the X to 12 Pro Max soon. Don’t think waiting for the 13 is even worth it. The difference will be huge for me either way.

I’m like you and always get the max, but that 6.1 12 Pro is a definite sweet spot and I’m happy with mine, I do miss that screen real estate watching content though

I don’t think it’s too big. I have the pro max , even though I have small hands.

Thanks for the great review. I’m still leaning towards the pro max thinking the videos might be more stable & battery life is important to me. Which screen protector do you recommend for both of these? Would love to see a comparison of video size, which would determine how much storage to get?

Can’t say I’ve had a pinkie ache from my phone but. It’s not that much larger than the 11 pro max. I also have large hands so for me this phone feels like the perfect size.

Personally I don’t like the 12 pro max I already tried it and it’s way too big for me and my hands. So I returned it. Just to put in context the biggest size I’ve had as a phone until the release of the 12s was the 2nd gen iPhone SE which is 4.7”, coming from 1st gen SE at 4” now I have regular iPhone 12 pro at 6.1”. I rather sacrifice a bit battery life and screen for a comfortable grip. Now 7-8 months after using it, I’ve loved it and still love it. I’m not a heavy user on a phone but the SE 2nd gen barely gets me through the day and I can barely see with that LCD panel. When on very light to light usage on the 12 pro I go to sleep at around 70-75%. Moderate usage goes down to half.

Given that Im upgrading from an 8 plus to 12pro max the dimensions are about the same however now ill get a larger screen, the only downside would be getting used to the weight of the new phone but worth the longer battery life!

I went from 11 Pro Max to the 12 Pro. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Thanks for putting this video together.

Thanks for the review video, well done with honest and practical information. 12 Pro Max (or any Max) was never on my radar. I was aiming for the iPhone 12 Mini after the announcement to replace the XR; however, the Lidar ability on the Pro model got my attention and decided to go with the 12 Pro.

That 12 pro max battery is just to delicious to regret getting it, the feel is something you get used to very quickly.

yeah i picked up my mums 12 pro yesterday and my little sister laughed at how small it looked in my hands. gonna get me a 12 pro max in a couple weeks

It’s to big. I just don’t understand how someone would need a phone this big.

It is most likely you have small hands. Big phones are an advantage for big hands.

I just ordered a "used - in excellent condition" iPhone 12 Pro Max. I don't mind I do this three years later, I get it for less than half of the original price, and it should be a decent upgrade from my XS-MAX. I don't upgrade every year, so I look forward to this one!

12 Pro Max is just too big for me. I’m happy with my iPhone 12.
