Man, once Apple released the iPhone 12, I think the Apple a series of chips peaked in performance. Apple can’t make them any faster, that’s why they gave the iPhone 14 the A15 Bionic

I have the 13 pro max and I must confirm that there are almost no difference in terms of performance between 12-13-14 PM phones. I chose to buy the 13 pro max over the 12 pro max because the 120 Hz screen and much better battery life.

Apple's A chips are incredibly powerful, my friend still has an iPhone XS and it's already five years old, the battery and screen have just been replaced. Now it's like a new phone and the phone hasn't slowed down at all

Thats the benefit of doubling down huge on efficiency over everything else, the chips stay cooler and while slower in brute force they can withstand hard usage for long long periods of time, essentially apple makes the OS need more resources and power each year for example maybe the iphone 12 needed to run at 70% to be fully functional on release then with every release the phone uses more and more power untill its 100% and apple cuts out support but by thay time the phone is already 4 to 5 years old so you should replace it anyway. Truly genius move compared to android where every phone is running 100% out of the box and the reason they slow down all the time.

I've had all three phones, I have to say the 13 Pro Max was the one that I have the fondest memories on. 12 Pro Max was the one I got after I tried the Z Fold 2 for a bit and the 14 Pro Max is usually my daily driver, however for the time being I'm using the S23 Ultra (gotta switch it up sometimes, the same OS gets boring)

Battery and camera is the only reason to upgrade really. Iphones holds up 3-4 year no problem. And can easely be used for 6-7 years if you want too

Should have tested in iOS 17, all three of those perform even better.

Is there an IG bug ? I saw some flickering or is it the display ? Curious because I am experiencing flickering on my 13 pro.

It’s crazy how Apple made the camera unit bigger every year, starting from the 11 Pro which is missing here 😅 I‘m excited if it will be even bigger on the 15 Pro.

Before most of us dont like big camera bumps at the back of our phone but these days if we go back to the camera bump of the 11 pro max it actually look awkwars and the 14 pro max looks the best because of the big camera. Atleast for me 😅

The battery life on my 14+ really reminds me of the battery life I got on my 13 Pro Max which I wish I had never gotten rid of. I was very disappointed with the battery life in my 14 Pro Max and so I traded down to the plus and could not be happier with that decision. It does everything I needed to do without bell and whistles. I will never use and the battery life just blows the promax out of the water.

As well as battery, if only the pro-max models were as light as the plus, I understand wanting the pro-max to be 'premium' but personally I prefer the look and feel of the matte aluminium on the plus to the shiny stainless steel on the pro-max's and it also makes it so much lighter. I'm intrigued to see how the 15 plus turns out

Can’t say I’m a fan of True Tone. I never have it on. Everything seems more color accurate and whiter with True Tone off. That’s somewhat Ironic. What makes it true? I have no idea.

for me it makes the screen, more yellow /warmth. i have it also turned off, more of cold feeling/ truer color.

Seems to me that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the advantage of more years for apps to have been optimized for it. From what I saw in this video, your iPhone 13 Pro Max was more times than not the slowest actually. I wonder if that too has to do a little bit with app optimization and the iPhone 14 Pro Max's faster processing capabilities.

Exactly and some peeps are upgrade their phone once or twice a year. Phones these days are so much powerful especially flagship phones.

The 13 series was rhe best. Mini version is betrer than plus. Dynamic island just dont do it for me, y prefer smallest notch. And i neves ise true tone, y prefere more natural look

I want to buy an iphone 12 pro max but I'm in two minds, I want a battery that lasts at least 12 hours, I don't know if it's worth buying, I haven't used games or it's better to get a 13 pro max

Why is instagram and twitter not so fast? I have an S23 and the animation in the developer settings set to off and twitter/facebook/instagram open immediately without or hardly having to load, it opens immediately.
